As I recall, Jed is Jethro's uncle by marriage. I think that Jethro is the son of Jed's wife's sister. So the dead wife is Jethro's Aunt, making Jed, Jethro's uncle. Also making Ellie May Jethro's first cousin. Really it's not that hard to understand, well until you get to the cousin once removed stuff. I agree, that remark, and thread irked me too. I notice that particular snob hasn't been around much. They did duck into one of the school vent threads, just to agree with some of us South Palding area folks. In general I don't find anyone to be snobby out here. Now, if you want to talk about snobville Snellville that would be different. None of y'all got anything on the folks on Palm Beach. Heck even they are snobs to their own, old money vs new etc. The sad thing is once the kids get kicked out of all the boarding schools they end up in the public schools.

I think it might be a South Fl. thing. I grew up in WPB, and usually the tar balls came in with the seaweed. And, yes they would be there one day, and not the next. Just one of those things I guess.

Thank God none of the new mom's on my FB page have resorted to that. Other things that are enough already worthy, but not that. But, my friends probabley get all rolly eyed with all the football pictures, animal pictures, and such.

I knew the first time I seen it, it was fake, but for some reason DH has to watch it every flipping time it comes on. As far as the tar on the beach that is something that is always there. Of course those of us who grew up on the beach knew when it was seaweed time, tar time, and jelly fish time. We usually avoided the beaches that were affected that day. Baby oil will get it off. Do they not post that info at the entrances to whatever beach your going to? When I was a kid they used to.
