Why would anyone work for some one like that? Even when I was young, and stupid I knew better then to work for some one like that.

I thought a lot of companies already did it like that. Before my husband retired that's how his company did things. The only real decision we had to make was which one to put DS on.

Most all of the sports that were cut in the middle schools, have been taken over as feeder teams for the respective high school that the child is distracted to attend. I agree with that completely. However on the other hand parents are made to think that if their kid misses ANY school days it is the end of the world for them. I got into it when (now 8th grader) was in kindergarden. He missed 5 days in a row. Seemed that being stranded by a hurricane, and out of state wasn't a good enough reason for him to miss school. This is just another the minority of kids doing something wrong, so EVERYONE has to suffer. God forbid that any thing tragic happen.

Seems like Wellstar already had this locked in. All of our doctors have been Wellstar doctors. Now if they can just get their billing department to know what their doing. The doctors are great, the billing department not so much.

I have picked up my son for a doctors appointment at the end of the school day, and he was marked absent for the day. Why? Because there are no checkouts after a certian time. In my son's case 3pm. So, if I pick him up for a 4pm appointment at 2:59pm he is marked absent. How many days will a child get marked absent if they have to go to the orthodontist? So, what days are they actually counting? The ones where they have been there all day, and get marked absent because they leave school at the last possible minute? See, that's funny as hell right there. When I worked for McDonalds, I had a roof over my head, and food in my belly. Why? Because I WAS A TEENAGER, it was/is a starter job. Even at 16 I understood that. I spent my check on teenager stuff. Really, y'all are acting like this is a job that is a permanent thing. Hell even the manager positions are looked at as stepping stones. If you don't like McDonalds so much don't buy their food, don't let your kid work there. We're talking McD workers here. Seems to me that the way some of y'all are going on you think that the folks who have taken jobs there intend to be there forever.
