I think it has to do with, even though there is no federal funding, it is run by the federal gooberment. I could be mistaken.

My DH has had very good care at the VA. However, you still have to have outside insurance if the treatment is for a non-service connected issue. You do need to keep in mind that the hospital is also a teaching hospital. I'm thinking that the interns are form Emory, and yes there are some really good doctors, at the hospital. The biggest issues, to us is, how far away the hospital is. How far away the community clinics are, and the fact that sometimes you'll get a doctor that doesn't speak English. The backlog in claims is because of the disability claims.

No, this one is still "occupied." My friend just moved into a home they bought, and are in the process of doing the last bit of cleaning before they hand the keys back to the owner. It is a 3/2 with a fenced yard.

My friend just moved out of a house near Hiram Sudie. I know she was cleaning it up this week. I'm thinking it should be available at the end of the month. I have no idea how much the rent is.

Well seems the issues still applies. If there is a snake, or some other varmint that needs to die, and either my son, myself, or my DH shots it we would still have an issue. Or, perhaps we'll just let the kids get bit.

JSYK, it is the bus people that make the decision where the bus stop is. As we (my neighbor, and I) were told. Even though the kids went back, and forth between the houses, the road is just to dangerous for middle schoolers to go next door, or meet in the middle, so there would be one stop instead of two in a 100' distance.

The bus stop is our driveway. So, according to those idiots my son can't shoot his BB gun, or any other type of weapon on our property.

Prayers for the families, and classmates. I know how hard it can be for the classmates, even the classmates of the siblings if there are any. My daughter's friend's brother was killed when they were in middle school. I think half the class showed up to his memorial. Between the high school classmates, and the middle school classmates of his sister there was so much love poured out on that family. My daughter still keeps in touch with the sister.

:rofl: Apparently THIS kid needed to have the public shame. Go mom. I'm thinking mom has done all the "now, now sweetie you know better" crap, and this is the last straw. I guess after getting on my daughter to clean her room day, after day, I was a horrible mom to go in, and put all the stuff on the floor (this included clothes, school work, etc.) pull off all the posters, and pictures off the walls etc. I threw it all in the trash in front of her friends. I guess I should have been all "OK we have been having this discussion for over a month, but you go ahead, and do what you want.
