My mom told us that it was a name used for the men who worked in the fields. Because they wore their hair short they would get sunburned. Hence a redneck. I took it to mean any one who worked for a living. Really ticks some people off when they are trying to insult you. And you smile and say "why thank you. I do work awfully hard"

NJ, I think LPPT is saying what a lot of us feel. I also think that we as Americans have finally awakened to see what has been done. I also think that we will see that our voices will be heard loud and clear come Tuesday and in November. While it is an act of God that there was an earthquake, it has been the acts of men that these people do not have the infrastructure and resources to deal with this on their own. I have a son BD 8/29 I so wish I had held him back. We ended up holding him back in 1st grade and that was the best thing. I wouldn't send her just yet.

My dogs love Purina. $11.00 @ Sam's for a 20# bag. It last my 5 dogs 3+/- weeks. No health issues either. I have used all of the other "Premium" brands and did not see a difference coat, body condition, or fecal out put. I have never used the Pet Smart brand Nutro max. Nor have I ever tried Bil-Jack b/c seeing the intestinal issues ( diarrhea and skin issue) convinced me not to use this food.

Can't read any futher. I DVR this and a few others DH doesn't like so I have yet to see it.

I use Purina little bites ( my dogs weigh 28, 30,15, 12, 8 pounds) I have worked in Veterinary medicine for over 15 years and I always recommend Purina for the grocery brands. They have been around for years and all my pets have always been on it. No gas issues or anything else. You didn't say how old your adult is and if this is a change for him. Have you taken the puppy in and checked for intestinal parasites? If you have and both dogs are free of parasites then your oldest may just be naturally thin. Some times boxers are very thin but that is just the individual dog. Good luck

That and the fact that I told my older two (youngest is 10 and will NOT be getting a phone anytime soon) "if your "friends" can't call the house phone, they do not need to be calling your cell" Pager was put in our room overnight ( dad is a very light sleeper) and DS did not have it until he had to go somewhere that we weren't with him. DS is 29. Same with DD except she had a pre-pay cell. DD is 24. BTW I know the law says 18 but, they are considered an adult at 17 and can be charged as such.

My DH and our two oldest were extras in "Gordy" they all three got paid for the week that they were there. I even got paid for my one day. We also got to see Doug Stone up close and play a little softball with his band. We all had a blast.
