There is nothing you can do. If you hear the kids repeat what the parent is saying, tell them that is simply not true. It's not a bad thing for the kids to learn that there is a finite amount of money that their parents have to spend on them. I feel sorry that they may either learn the lie that the gooberment is there to take care of them, or that you have to take what you can get till something better comes along. Seems like the parents don't want to take personal responsibility. I do think I would have to point it out to them.

Yea, I would love to see you tell that to the mortgage co, and the utilities companies. I guess you would just tell your kids how respect will put food on the table, and clothes on their backs. My oldest is a ladies man, always has been. I made sure he knew that, first a condom does not always work, never believe that she is on birth control, if the consequences came up, he has just as much responsibility as she does. I know how I handled it with my two oldest, and how I handle it with my youngest. I always answer to the point, and try not to get into more then what they want to know at the moment. I always left it with "your friends don't know any more then you." You can always come to me, and we will talk. Sometimes the conversion would be 3 mins. some times it could be longer. My children don't have any developmental issues, so I'm not sure if you would handle it the same way. Good luck.

Yea, not so much. Maybe it was because I was using my birthday present. I was trying to learn how to use the new lens I got for my camera. I get to use it some more tomorrow at the 6th grades first home game of the season.

I did get pictures of it. But, hey you know the boys tried really hard. I know they will continue to work hard, and win more games along the way. This is still going to be a good season!!

I was at the EP/Paulding game. It was very good. After the past year of a certain poster denigrating the team it was great just to see them play with heart. I loved the fact that the stands were full. Yes, they are on their way to the top. BTW that cannon is really obnoxious. Now, for our Jr. Patriots to win against Hillgrove!!!
