  1. I heard a radio interview with her (can't remember who the interviewer was) and she said that this song came about from a couple she met in an airport or some public place. They told her they were big fans and that they wanted to play her music at their upcoming wedding, but it was all too depressing, so she set about writing this song because of that couple. This song is great.
  2. The Grand's on Ridge Rd next to Kroger has it most of the time. The last time I was up that way it was 4.49 gal.
  3. Thank you for refreshing my memory, I had forgotten about those incidents. Yeah, he was not such a good guy after all. I am ashamed that I forgot about all of that.
  4. Sorry, I don't get it. I had no idea he was not a good guy. I thought after Katrina, he was genuinely trying to help N.O. Forgive me, I didn't watch a whole lot of news then and I still don't. Never mind, I looked it up. I figured he must have said something of that nature. He's a weirdo.
  5. Congratulations!! That irst job is a really big deal. Which WM?
  6. Sadly, I didn't have her very long. My Dachshund broke into her enclosure and killed her. My grandma made chicken and dumplings for dinner, seriously. Please know that she was not being cruel to me, she was born in 1899 and she saw a chicken as a food source, not a meal.
  7. I have always called that little thingy a "rooster", but it doesn't bother me. The only time I ever remove it is when a make pecan pie. Someone once told me it would ruin the taste of the pie, doubtful, but it is removed just in case. I had a pet chicken when I was 4, her name was Betty.
  8. She is really beautiful. I heard about this awhile ago, but forgot all about it. Check out this link to this dog. http://news.softpedia.com/news/Half-Black-Half-Yellow-Labrador-Could-Be-a-Chimera-370965.shtml
  9. I have seen two of the Drs at Walmart in Hiram and have been pleased with them. Sorry, I can't recall their names, but one was an older rather short man and the lady was young and very thin. Both were thorough. Both of my visits were for eye glasses.
  10. My Ipod is filled with a mishmash of music ranging from Tim McGraw all the way to Rob Zombie with some Don Omar and My Darkest Days sprinkled in. If I like it, I add it. Of course there's AC/DC, after all, those are my initials and I have loved that band since I was 7 years old.
  11. The OP is just kidding, he/she said so in the beginning. Keep Calm & Carry On.
  12. Awe, Jenilyn, I am so sorry. I really didn't expect to read that Mona passed away. You all are in my thoughts, I know from some of your past posts, you loved her so much. RIP Mona.
  13. No invitations were sent, just a lot of people know we do it every year. Sometimes we do it for NYE, you and your wife will have to come down.
  14. You must have heard the ones from my cul de sac. It went on for nearly 2 hours. We had folks from the neighborhood set up chairs to watch. It was great.
  15. I had an Italian Greyhound that had epilepsy. It started when he was about 3 years old, he lived to be 15, just three months shy of 16. The vet knew about his seizures, but they happened so infrequently that he was never medicated for it. It started out with one approximately every 6 months and at its worst, one every couple weeks. I changed his dog food and the seizures stopped completely for a year and a half. When they returned, it was only every few months he would have cluster seizures. Dodger passed in January of cancer. My current IG, Axl, has epilepsy and has had three seizures in the
  16. Based on some of the things y'all have posted from today's hearing, is it possible that the mother orchestrated the murder? This whole thing is gross, bizarre, sickening and I just can't wrap my mind around this kind of mentality. I feel so bad for little Cooper and the suffering he endured, but now he is at peace. Those left behind are now trying to sort out this whole disgusting mess, the police, court system, attorney's and eventually a jury who will have to look at photos of Cooper alive and happy and then the horrible aftermath. Not to mention, looking at the monsters who did this to him
  17. What is the difference in the beliefs of the owners of Hobby Lobby and your beliefs? It would seem to me that you too want your beliefs forced on everyone, not just the employees of HL.
  18. From what I have read in the links posted on here, it appears, at least to me, that the two parents are building an insanity case for themselves. I would hate to think that they could spend a few years in a psych ward instead of prison where one or both belong.
  19. How about "buy some clothes that fit" or "just because you can, doesn't mean you should"
  20. Phil Gingrey comes to mind. I can't stand him, but then I did not like him long before he got into politics.
  21. Stop it. A woman is dead, medal jokes are not appropriate. She died a tragic death. I pray he will be punished and never see the light of day again. The news report I saw earlier today stated that he reeked of alcohol and they are awaiting toxicology reports.
  22. Prayers for you and your husband.
