1. No kidding, there were people on here who raved about Dogwoods Restaurant on 92. That place was some kind of nasty and truly made me wonder if people thought that was good food, what the heck were they eating in their own homes?
2. Awe!! She is so cute. Congratulations on your new puppy.
3. Yes, it is a very happy ending. I just got off the phone with his mom, my SIL, and she said he is grumpy and in pain, but refuses to take the pain meds. He doesn't like the way they make him feel, so she was going to get him some chewable Tylenol and MOtrin to alternate. He's 8 years old and said he would just deal with the pain instead of take the prescription pain meds, he's a tough little guy. I'm going to get a care package together to send him, but I'm trying to figure out what to put in it. I saw a marshmallow shooter that he can put together, that shouldn't be to tough on him in a week
4. Quick update with good news. Seth came home last night and is resting. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for my nephew, it means so much.
5. La Cocina is one our favorites. We also like Huey Luey's in Hiram. Now Applebee's, yuck!! Longhorn's is good, but they are too expensive for what they serve, Road house is just as good for less, IMO.
6. Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers for Seth. He is going to be okay.He had an okay night spent in the PICU. He was throwing up due to a concussion, severe bruising on his body and face and was given some morphine to help with the pain and get some sleep. They seem to think the facial bruising is where he bounced off the car or where his face hit the pavement. My BIL said this morning that it appears the broken ribs and teeth are the worst of it. With a little time and rest, the healing can begin and he can return to being a wonderful little 8 year old boy. It stinks that we live so fa
7. This was another wake up to remind me that I need to let my loved ones know how much they mean to me. My DH's brother's 8 year old son was hit by a speeding car Saturday evening about 5:30 just outside his home in Daytona. He has a concussion, broken ribs, scraped arm and face, missing a couple of teeth, but NO brain damage. Thank you God. He will spend the night in ICU tonight, but from what we know so far, he will have a full recovery. You know he wasn't even riding his bike in the street, he was in their driveway. When he saw the car coming as he was nearing the end of the driveway, he pu
8. YAY! It's about time I figured it out.
9. Photobucket is free, give it a try. I have always had good luck using it for posting pics here, until today. lol
10. Thank you Guard Dad. Let me give it another go.
11. I'm trying, but I think I figured out how to post the link from photobucket. What I'm trying to do is help Wenfen find a home for a dog she has been holding, it was a stray. We all know how hard she works with these animals and she just needs a little extra help.
12. Huh? I've been trying to post via the normal method, browse and attach. That isn't working. Guard Dad, where would I insert brackets using your method?
13. Can y'all help me out with how to go about posting pictures on here? I can't figure it out since the board has gone wonky. Thanks
14. I read the article and I can not understand how that jury was undecided. Dunn, the murderer, is still going to spend the rest of his life in prison and prosecutors will most likely be granted another trial for first degree murder. Maybe that jury will be better able to understand. Just from what I read in that one article, it appears Dunn is most definitely guilty and from the article. It's beyond me how he could fire a weapon into a vehicle with people in it and NOT think to notify police. The police should have been called while the verbal altercation was going on, as Dunn claimed, but no on
15. Miss Sophie, my heart goes out to you. It is so hard to lose our animals. My 15 year Italian Greyhound, Dodger, crossed the Rainbow Bridge less than three weeks ago. He had cancer and I miss him everyday. Please know my thoughts are with you and your sister as you all deal with this loss.
16. Yep! I drove on it about an hour ago.
17. We had Comcast cable and phone, now it's just internet. When we were with them we never really had a problem except every few months they would shut everything off about 6 days before my bill was due. I never could get it resolved with them or a reimbursement for the reconnect fees. When I called to cancel they offered everything under the sun, but I cancelled anyway. If they weren't so expensive and if they would have resolved the aforementioned issue, we would have stayed with them. Lately, my internet cuts off and on for whatever reason. New router and new cable modem, I need to call them.
18. I got my stuff yesterday, just two bags of Lindor chocolates for DD and DS and a heart box of Reece's peanut butter cups for DH. That's plenty. Maybe Friday I will make them some homemade cinnamon rolls.
19.

They broke the mold when they made you. That was great.
20. It's a chicken coop that is on wheels so that it can be moved around.
21. Guess what? Jekyll Island holds a Shrimp and Grits Festival in September each year. Maybe you could plan a trip and enjoy one of your favorite foods in a beautiful place.
22.

I agree. My niece has six children, her four oldest are quadruplets. One of her daughters from the quads is mentally challenged. Honestly, I don't know exactly how she is defined, but children like her at one time were called retarded. She is a sweet beautiful 17 year old girl who no one ever thought she would be able to do anything overly significant. Well, she did just that in August of 2011. The family was having a big get together of friends of and family and had a fire going in the fire pit, one three year old boy fell face first
