The "A Tooty Ta" song is good one. Y'all, don't go there !

ME too, ME too..... Definitely NO MORE Mexican or Chinese places! We need a second Martin's! Even if it's like the little drive thru only in Cartersville open for breakfast. I don't eat it but I bet a seafood place like Seabreeze/Baybreeze/Joe's Crabshack would go over really well!

Me too....

I chew it because my daughters personal trainer told her that's the best exercise to strengthen and tighten those turkey necks! Or, as in her case, keep from getting one! I agree though, can't stand talking to someone smacking on a piece or hear them popping air bubbles in it.

KUDOs to your daughter, I understand how hard it was for both of you. I have a struggler myself that works her arse off for A's /B's. She EARNED her placement as Beta officer and her grades. I am worried for her to take this test when it's time, she has HORRIBLE test anxiety. You must have had the Sr advisor we did with our oldest, she was only helpful to her favorite students.....she helped THEM apply for all of the best scholarships. Didn't even bother to tell us about them when asked for all scholarships she knew of. Sad thing, she's still doing the same job.

crazy4boys and jenilyn....I don't understand it either! Thanks Ugadawgs, that's all I needed. Someone to dumb it down for me I'll try those. The registry that randomly scanned my system said I have 225 errors but some of the ones they showed weren't errors. I'm really skeptical of things that I don't ask for or subscribe to. Thank you

Make a thicker oatmeal/raisin type cookie or muffin batter then add a puree of prunes, plums and pears along with a spoonful or two of flax seed oil as the moisture ingredient. Add in a spoonful or two of unflavored metamucil, and a few spoonfuls of Psyllium husks. Mix a touch of the flax seed oil and puree to softened butter for a "special" spread for the muffins. Tell him they are special "healthy" treats you saw in a fitness magazine. All natural ingredients!

Because they don't as parents/adults! Last Thursday I had to pick up one DD after school due to a special rehearsal she had...this was a PC elementary school. I got middle DD from the high school and then the youngest. As I was pulling out of the elementary school, middle DD says "that's a diaper laying against the curb...GROSS! Why would anybody do that"? Yep, someone, while waiting in the car rider line had to change a baby and left the diaper (not even wrapped in a baggie) along the curb! That means they got out of the car, got said baby out of the car seat, removed clothing, removed diap -
:OFF TOPIC: If the decision has been made to drop the test, why are they waiting until 2015 to do it? Why not drop it now? My middle DD is the last class that HAS to take it and she sooo is not a standardized test kid. She has struggled since day 1 of kindergarten. Things do not come easy to her. Her teachers have all said they wished all their students worked as hard as she does, just to make a B. She's a freshie this year and her last progress report was A's, B's and 1 C (77) in Biology. Considering the fact that on her first progress report she had a 34 in that class, I'm thrilled with the

A registry cleaner, PC optimizer, registry optimizer, etc....and which one should I be using? Are there any versions that are free, if so, which is the best? I have an HP Pavillion a6130n and I am using the free version of Avast! anti-virus software. I've looked at RegAce System Suite, ARO2011, Ccleaner, and something called Advanced Registry Optimizer randomly ran a scan and asked me to purchase. I am at a TOTAL loss when it comes to this kinda stuff. Could someone give me a brief education on what I should do..... Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, AT&T does give a senior discount on basic land line service.

Finer Consignments had some, don't remember the colors. They're on Roswell Road about 1/4-1/2 mile past the Big Chicken. 770-321-2345 My MIL used to collect the pink rose patterned depression glass and she started me on the Rosepoint. I never really got in to it. Seems like she used to travel to glass shows. Have you tried any of those? Good luck!

Thanks GaBelle! I guess it's a moot point for me since they've already had tryouts. I don't think we could've meshed the practice schedule with the dance schedule either. I think I know your cheerleader BTW With the oldest way back, we paid out $900 for the required items, bags, camps, etc...and the always HATED $125 booster club fee that went to fb It seems to have decreased greatly.

My oldest cheered middle and high school and was the first Capt of the then new dance team. The dance team since has been dissolved I guess, it's no longer availabe. That was years ago though. My middle one wants to tryout but I am curious as to the cost now. I know how much we pais out way back then 8/ can't imagine how much it has increased! She is heavily involved with her competitive dance company so she probably would be looking at the noncompetition squad due to scheduling. So, my questions are 1) what was the total amount you were out in a yr for high school cheer? 2) what days/hours do

Just got a text from a friend that works in a near by school district. They got word that the worst of the storms for our area would hit around 4/5ish. They are considering canceling afternoon activities in anticipation of dangerous conditions. Nothing on the schools (BOE) radar yet but WSB is forecasting the same. Looks like it's coming in earlier than thought.

You must be some of my DH's long lost family! EXACTLY what he does, terrifies the kids! My mom goes to her hall closet which is under a staircase. We go to the basement against the wall that is underground. I am extremely weather phobic!! I keep a plastic, sealing storage box there that has emergency candles, matches, one camp lantern with fuel bottles, toilet paper, paper towels, meds/1st aid kit/hand sanitizer, batteries, flashlights, some water, some MRE's (yuck), pet food, copies of important documents, contact info, our names/pics/DOB, silver thermal blankets and a tv/radio/flashlight -
My DH and DD's (11 & 15) ride from the health dept (sometimes Coot's lake) to Rockmart. The girls love the tunnel! I have a muscular issue that keeps me from joining them so they take pics for me along the way. It is beautiful up that way!

Must've been the Dallas Hwy store and NOT Hiram! I HATE that store! Glad you got it back quickly and in tact. -
Well you may be luckier that he isn't. My DH & I decided we'd try different plans and see who lost the most. It's taken me over a year to lose the 42lbs by eating properly and gettin' my butt moving! I kid you not....his plan: *Breakfast Biscuit with a meat, cheese and eggs and a 20oz Diet Mtn Dew *Lunch-a 6" Subway with the works, a Diet Mtn Dew and a sweet something *Supper- 1 large plate of whatever I fixed, a sugary drink of some kind *Snacks during the day- a little debbie's or a candy bar mid morning and again mid afternoon *Before bed- a bowl of ice cream or cereal *Adde
