Georgia is the Number 1 state for Lottery Suckers
OldGoat99 replied to Georgia Dawg's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I did not play that much, but when I did I felt that even a loss went to some good with my kids in college etc. I never won much, but it went to a good cause. And yes the poor play more then those well off as they know the odds of winning. -
He is referencing criminals in general. But then again we don't what he was referencing... do we.... he could be meaning anything. Try him on evidence not speculation or BS..... Just like the Anthony case...not enough evidence to convict. But tried and convicted in public with speculation and few facts. That is the scary part a lot of you miss. So many want him in jail and you really have little facts, and of those you do have show more and more he is within the laws of Florida.

Oh give me a break.... This whole murder charge is wrong from the get go and the state of Florida will end up with egg on their face again. The money was from what I can see for legal costs. The extra passport.... grey area as it was a old passport.

Well if a cop can get a wave on shooting someone in the back....... Well then you need to think of your kids doing something dumb.... then a cop can shoot them for anything.... Dang I wish I could shoot some people and get away with it too.

Yea, but who will pay the rest of us to read yours? -------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh and IMO he is guilty of stupidity and that is about it. He was using other peoples money to pay off his mistress.... nothing illegal about that. Tacky...oh ye.. but why use your own money? Not guilty

I took a major hit on the sale of my home in GA due to those that are in Wall Street and those that just did not belong in a home they could not afford etc etc etc. But I was smart enough to stay put for 14 years, Keep my bills under control and not over extend my self. I took a hit, but made it up on the purchase of my new home. (P.S. my new home has gone up over 40K since last year) I expect to do OK when I am ready to move next time. So I am doing fine, but I know others who are just getting by in all situations in Georgia. I tend to think if you prepare for the worst and ma

Zoo at least you are doing a bit of research to back up your statement vice others that just wing it . I think homes sales are up and I do think things are getting a little better overall. Are we back to where we were? No and a long way from it and I don't expect things to be close to full recovery for another 4-5 years. But I sure hope those on Wall street and main street learned a little from it all. To work and spend within their budgets. Which many people have only recently done in the past few years.

Sounds a bit like it should have been worked out up front. Granny does get a break from me though too. Now to keep things on the nice side. I suggest you finish the list and be polite, but note how many hours you were there. This can only get ugly if you don't tip toe. Your best bet is to complete the list. and politely decline the next time around. You made the commitment the first time with out working out a wage. Granny gets to pay what she can and she feels is a decent wage.

Sounds like you are looking out for your self and your future with the right attitude. Life deals everyone a decent set of cards in life. It is how you play them and work around the bad hands that is the true test. I can say I have been lucky for the most part and not had too many bad hands. But I learned how to prepare for those days from my folks. My dad left a suit job with little job security for a job cleaning the bath rooms at Miami airport. He worked his way to the air freight and then shift boss. He knew that you have to work some cruddy jobs to put food on the table and pay

Another reason Georgia is still laying off..... backward thinking. I left my last company not long after the 10% cut.... you can't trust companies like that. Old CEO gave him self 1 million bonus each year I was there and cut jobs every year. I am now making twice what I was in Georgia and have a very secure job.... I suggest taking the pay cut to insure temporary job security...Then put all after hours time in to getting a new job as that company is not stable. Jump on your terms and not on companies terms.

Put the facts together and the picture is not good. Guy patrolling neighborhood that had has serious incidents. Kid with a bit of attitude issue ( look at school issues) Crossed paths Both had certain rights. Both lost .... Gun should not really be there, but then he was licensed. Kid lost battle, , but did get some lumps in and looks like he gave a few lumps to Zimmerman Legal system was wrong in bringing case.... >>> IMO purely racist move to calm the black population vice putting facts out to the people early. Both kid and Z were on a collision course.... Ki

What everyone is missing is the scariest part.. The governor put a DA up to putting serious charges on Zimmerman, when it totally looks like it should never happen. Just another case that the media and legal system is going too far. You should be scared of this kind of justice. Because you could be on the wrong end too. I just shows justice is blind and the legals system can be down right wrong. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ And YES I think Paulding county is playing the same game with surpip. <<<

United States Took The Right Action After Crash Of 2008
OldGoat99 replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We are moving upward, slowly.. But you fail to blame those that created this mess. but continue to blame those that are working to clean up the mess someone else created. Those that fail to head the past, will repeat it. Oh and those Republican oil companies still need your tax subsidies... Do you really think a tax dogger will make this county better? -
Go figure..... it cost $5.00 for finger printing up here... Got to pay the folks in politics.... they love to hike fees for...... ah airports

B is the way to go.... Blue does look good, but do some quick glances..... which is easier to read..... flash it to folks that don't know the words and ask them which is easier to read.. Bet they say B is easier on the eyes to read. Think about it.... why are most major sites and adds in white background.... contrast that is easy on the eyes. Good luck on your final choice -
That can happen to non-smokers too. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now what do they do with all the taxes the collect from smokers? I loved it when Sonny noted that smokers taxes had dropped off quite a bit a few years ago and the state had to raise taxes to make up the shortage. Plus she gets free medical care, with the taxes she has been paying according to the governor and why he raised taxes on smokers to help pay for their medical costs. Right?

Unless the thread is burried some place --------------------------------------------------------- ...37 views....... I guess a few of you really endorse this guy and his out right racist views. Enough said..... you say it with your lack of response

I don't see anyone paying more then they have too for anything. Why should a company? Plus I learned a long time ago you get what you pay for in labor (most of the time). Lazy people sneak by from time to time (I work with a slug right now). and it drives me nuts to watch his lazy butt. I just can't help a guy get fired in this economy.

Only way that will happen, is if we stop buying imports and concentrate on USA products..... I would bet that 70% of all stores are foreign products.
