He was still a good guy with a GUN.

So if they take the same amount of dough and stretch it longer, then put the same toppings on it, will people be happy? If they took less dough but made sure it measured 12" after baking, then put less toppings on it, the same people would still be happy because it's still a 'foot' long.

News Groups Urge Open Trial In Steubenville Rape Case
markdavd replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
So the motions won't be made public. Big deal! That doesn't mean it will be a closed trial or that anyone is getting away with something. Unless you're one of the folks reportedly threatening the witnesses, it shouldn't matter. If you are one of those folks, you should be prosecuted. This is a juvenile case, so I'm surprised as much has been made public as it has. -
The Do Not Call lists work when you're talking about legitimate law abiding companies based in the USA. If they are not law abiding or not in the country, that's another matter. The problem is, if they are out of the country, there's not much the government can do. If they are based in the US, it's still a long, expensive battle for law enforcement and prosecutors to pinpoint and prosecute the guilty parties.

I guess they wouldn't have thought of buying them on their own. -
I still can't get over the fact that the OP thinks that he/she/it has to tell us that North Carolina is an American state.

Unless the person who stole the tag picked yours because you have the same/similar vehicle to theirs.

My guess is many of the recycling cans were half full when picked up weekly, so why not switch to every other week? Unless you put the 2nd week's recycling in the trash, they are indeed picking up the same amount as before. We got a postcard in November explaining the situation with a calendar showing which weeks would have recycling pick-up.

I've observed that TP is the only one allowed to bring up other subjects in his posts and if someone else does it he complains. -
Perhaps it's aimed a little high and with the top down it doesn't pick up the car sitting there. Next time, try stopping a little further back and see what happens. I know some of the sensor cameras at East Paulding and 92 were badly mis-aimed when first installed and they would never pick up the first car in line if they were the only one.

I thought many of the cameras were infrared rather than optical. They would be looking for the heat from an engine to decide if a car was stopped at the light.

Some of the forums (Political, Religious) are passworded because some members don't want to wade through the posts on the recent topics page. Others are passworded so they can't be accessed/archived by automated search engines such as Google or Yahoo. IIRC, years ago before the passwords, P.com was put on the internet 'naughty' list because people were telling adult jokes in a forum set aside for that. Search engines found them and the entire site was affected because of the content.

Home Depot usually collects old Christmas trees to be chipped into mulch. They call it "Bring One for the Chipper." Call Home Depot to see if they're still taking trees this year.

How many of those Android owners are bragging about how small/thin their phone is? (before adding the protective brick)

A few days after the strangers who painted the stripes, we had other strangers come and dig a small trench in my yard and bury a wire of some sort!! Scary!! They were so good at hiding what they did, you almost couldn't tell what they they had done. Double Scary - that wire could have been for almost anything!!!!

I've had strangers spray paint colored lines on my yard!! Scary!!!

I'm glad someone hasn't suggested getting some of those rubber turtles like were used in the study and putting nails in them before placing them in the road.

Could it be she wants to keep her name private so she isn't forever known as "Clark Howard's First Wife?"
