My levels were low with my son. I took progesterone pills until I was about 14 or 15 weeks. He was perfectly healthy and weighed in at 9 lb., 8 oz. I think it's pretty common for the levels to be low. Good Luck to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I can tell, it's still listing blue for Hiram and orange for South Paulding, so nothing has been changed on the map.

The map on the county web site says "corrected" next to the map link, but when I clicked on the map, it looks exactly the same with HHS and SPHS reversed. I hope it is an error because I really want my son to stay at HHS. He's doing very well there and does not adapt to change well at all.

I left home at about 6:00 this morning. We live off of Sweetwater Church Road in Faraday Woods. Our subdivision had a lot of snow and/or ice and so did Sweetwater Church/Brownsville Road. There were areas that had some clear spots and if you kept your wheels in the ruts other cars made, it wasn't half bad. Also, everyone drove about 20 mph and that helped. 278 to Veterans wasn't bad at all. I got turned around in Austell because somebody spun out where you take the turn to go up to Maxham Road, so I backtracked and went back to Thornton Road to I-20 to Fulton Industrial and back on DL Ho

Doesn't Official Car with Sirens Blaring have right-of-way
GGinGA replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Nobody ever believes me when I tell them that we learned in driver's ed (about 100 years ago)that if you are at a 4-way stop and your car, a police car with sirens and lights on, a fire truck with sirens and lights on and a mail truck are all stopped, which vehicle has the right of way? We were told the mail truck always has the right of way because "the mail must go through"!! Maybe the laws are different in Illinois but that's what we learned in driver's ed! It was even a question on the driver's ed written test. -
Try adjusting the bobbin tension. Also, remove the throat plate and make sure you don't have a bunch of thread wound around the bobbin or the metal things that hold the bobbin in place (don't know what they're called).

I agree with the others - Marietta OBGYN Affiliates are the best! (770) 422-8505. Dr. Bauer is my personal favorite!

Here is a Paula Dean recipe I like to make - very good and very easy! Easy Coffee Cake 2 – 8 oz. cans crescent rolls 1 c. sugar 2 – 8 oz. cream cheese 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg, separated 1 tsp. almond Preheat oven to 350. Spread 1 can crescent rolls in the bottom of a 13x9 pan. Cream ¾ cup sugar, cream cheese, vanilla and egg yolk. Spread over rolls. Top with second can of crescent rolls. Beat egg white until frothy and brush on top. Sprinkle in remaining sugar. Bake 30-35 minutes. You can also spread some All Fruit Jelly (strawberry is good) on top of the cream c

My best friend, Amy, was dating a cute, nice guy named John. I asked, jokingly, if he had any brothers and she said he had a brother named Steve but he was kind of wild and I didn't want anything to do with him. Later on, John and Amy were out having drinks and Steve dropped by at the bar. Amy started calling all of her friends so Steve could meet them, one at a time. She called me and said that she and John were out having a few drinks and why didn't I come on over. I did and there sat Steve. He had a beer in his hand and barely acknowledged me. He jerked his head at me instead of sayi -
Is it possible that he found the bullets outside on the ground someplace? When my son was in 1st grade, he found a half empty bottle of deer lure on the playground. He put it in his pocket and I was soon called by his teacher and notified that he would be in ISS for bringing deer lure to school with him (I guess it stinks really bad)! I told her I didn't even know what deer lure was and I asked if they had asked him where he got it. She said they didn't and when they did finally ask him, he quickly told them he found it on the playground and showed them where it was. They cancelled ISS.

My hometown is Morton, Illinois and that is where Libby cans 95% of their pumpkin. The pumpkins they use for their canned pumpkin is only grown around that area also (within a distance of Morton). They have had so much rain that they can't harvest their crops and the pumpkins are just sitting in the fields, rotting. Corn and soybeans are sitting there, too. So, Morton, IL, where they make Libby's canned pumpkin, can't even get canned pumpkin this holiday season!

Cracks me UP!!! We had to watch it every Sunday night because my dad loved it! We hated it! My sister and I didn't miss Sonny and Cher. I thought she was so cool and I wanted long hair to flip behind my back like she did!!! We also loved That Girl, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie and Soul Train on Saturday afternoons! I totally forgot about Captain Kangaroo! I wanted to marry Mr. Green Jeans when I was four years old! We liked The Carol Burnette Show - we used to howl when Harvey Corman dressed up like that lady with big boobs!

My husband and I walk early (4:20) every morning and we saw a fox cross Sweetwater Church Road yesterday morning. We walk our dog so we turned around and went back home. Do foxes or coyotes bother people if you are walking around and you cross thier path, or do they just go after small animals like dogs and small farm animals? I don't know anything about them and I was wondering. I'm glad somebody started this topic, since we had just seen a fox. Thanks!

Samwich or sammich instead of sandwich (the McDonald's commercial on the radio is famous for "samwich" - makes me want to slap her). Sit tight.

Infant Loss or Stillbirth/ Miscarriage Support Groups
GGinGA replied to smoothsailing's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yes, it does. I lost 2 babies 20 years ago and another one 10 1/2 years ago. You never forget them, even though you never saw their little faces. -
I think they have taken it off the air by now, but I HATED that Quiznos commercial where the oven says "Yes Scott, put it in me!". Gross........

Infant Loss or Stillbirth/ Miscarriage Support Groups
GGinGA replied to smoothsailing's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You can start with a church grief group or call a local hospital or your doctor's office might know of one or two around. I know lots of churches have grief share type groups. Also, you could call any hospice facility and they can point you in the right direction. Also, I think there is a local chapter of Compassionate Friends, which is a support group for parents who have lost children/miscarriage/still birth, etc. There is a chapter in Marietta (404-539-4287) and another one in Cedartown (770-748-5234) I hope this will help you find a group you can relate to. Good luck! -
So do I, plus I flush the toilet with my foot! I refuse to touch the flush handle.

Pretty! They remind me of snowflakes!

My sisters and I had to share a 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger. That car could MOVE! My dad bought it from my grandpa and I'm pretty sure my grandpa (who was a gear head!) did something to the engine to make it run really fast before my dad bought it from him! It was blue, 2-door with a white hard top. When I graduated high school in 1981, I bought my first car, a 1976 lime green Chevy Nova hatchback, 2-door, aka "the rusty heap". My sister would not let me drive my little nephew around in it because his hair would smell like exhaust when we got home. Then, I bought my first brand new car, a 19

I feel sorry for him already! Poor guy! He looks sweet in the picture but compared to the other "regular size baby, he is a MOOSE! My son was 9 lb, 8 oz. and everybody at the hospital asked me if he was a couple of months old when they saw him. They couldn't believe he was born just that morning!! Does the mom having gestational diabetes make the baby more prone to being diabetic when he is born? Might be a stupid question, but I don't know so I'm asking.

I am a licensed cosmetologist but I have worked as a secretary for the past 21 years! I still answer "hairdresser" whenever someone asks what I do for a living. Not that I'm ashamed of being a secretary or anything - I'm not. I just have always thought of myself of a hairdresser. Weird. Yeah. I know.

I have been a patient of Marietta OB/GYN for over 20 years. I love them. I usually see Dr. Bauer. I have gone from Dr. McLendon (not there anymore and my favorite), to Dr. Gingrey and now Dr. Bauer. Dr. Christmas delivered my son but he is no longer there. I know it sounds like they change alot but they don't. They were all there for the first 10 years I went there. I have also seen Dr. Klein on an emergency basis and she was good, too. (770) 422-8505. They have 3 locations - Church street in Marietta, Dallas Hwy. near the Avenues and another office up off of 575 (I don't go ther

HA! Reminds me of my son's favorite book when he was little "Chicken Soup With Rice"!!

You start with chicken broth, I ussually add a few boullion cubes to give it a stronger taste. I chop onions and celery add some secret herbs to the broth my mother always put sage in hers I add sausage flavored with sage; ( I copied this from LPPT's post) That's my recipe, too! I cook the onions and celery in a little butter and then add it to torn up bread pieces (or a bag of dry Pepperidge Farm bread cubes) and keep it moist while it bakes. (And, yes, I'm a yankee - so it's stuffing!)
