Our church is suppose to be moving up this way from Newnan. It will be called Life Church and it will be located on Hwy 92 south of Brownsville Road. We will be located in the church that is now called Souls Harvest Worship Center. Our first service is Nov. 1. (hopefully) We are in the process of getting all the paperwork worked out and signed. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know this is horrible for you and your family. I can give you a little info to Mann Road. It was built along time ago and hasn't had any type of improvements (roadway) probably since it was built or paved from a dirt road. It really depends on the slope (2:1) of the shoulders. If the slope is 2:1 then the fill level would have to be 6' or deeper. If the slope of the shoulders is 3:1 then a guardrail isn't needed. This is per AASHTO and the NEW guidelines of a NEW roadway. Here is a REALLY good tip as to how you can tell where the ROW really is........ 9 times out of 10...... anything up to the Utility Poles is ROW. The utility poles have to be within the ROW or they will have to have a permanent easement or a temporary easement. All fire hydrants and utilities (underground) have to be located within the ROW. Most major highways have a 300' ROW. I know for a fact that 285 has a 150' ROW from the centerline of the roadway.
