IMO, Jeff Bridges carries the whole movie, if it weren't for him, this movie would really stink. As it is, it's mediocre,has a weak plot and I was not at all impressed with Gyllenhaal. Men Who Stare At Goats was good! JMO

Mine's been opened up for about 3 weeks-it's just gotten clean enough to use in about the last week. And yes, it had kids in it today even though it's not heated and still FREEZING!

I must have missed something! Our panties have been in a wad up here in the NE lately? ...I have heard about/seen stuff happen at that basketball court. If I lived there and had little kids, I'd be afraid to take them to the courts. It seems like they would get right on that problem with access cards and security guards.

You are a great wife, LR. Mine is diabetic, too, and I just can't be organized enough to get it on the table on time every night. I have to keep some protein bars or trail mix on hand for him until I can "get it together." That aggravates him, because he's always aggravated when his blood sugar is low. It's hard to maintain that level of commitment day after day. You've really got it together!

I think it's good to put it out there, it might encourage others to get a nanny cam, and not to trust someone just because she works at the church and looks and acts like they would never do something like that. I wish I hadn't watched it, though, my blood pressure's probably through the roof.

Subby fixed our lawn mower this past week, and I just want to say that he did a great job, for a great price, kept us posted on what was going on, and was so super easy to work with!!! The drive belt on our mower was a hugely complicated job, and we are so grateful to have found Subby! There's no telling how much more we would have paid if we had taken it somewhere else! Take your mower to Subby if you have problems with it, you won't be sorry!

Right. That scenario DOES blur the line somewhat but the death certificate is not going to read "suicide" unless the person was not terminally ill. I think that is the most caring and responsible thing that medical professionals can do in some instances.

Refusing chemo or any other treatment is in no way related to suicide. If a person dies after refusing treatment, the death certificate is going to reference the illness that killed them, not suicide. Their family is going to tell people about the illness that killed them, not suicide. I would probably fight to the end or close to the end, but I would never want to take away someone's choice that might be tired of the fight, sick & hurting. Suicide is not part of the equation, suicide is when you take your own life. That's what it is technically and in every other way.

Good to hear that Steven's got it together and ready to tour. At least for now! I wish them well, but I don't see this ending well for Steven if the rumors are true & he's deeply addicted to painkillers. There's not much room for error there, between getting high and overdose. The stress of a road tour, I don't know, I have a bad feeling about it. I've been a huge fan for some 35 years and I just felt some bad juju looking at that clip.
