The recipe I had called for a box of vanilla pudding and don't know what difference it makes but the recipe above doesn't. I have made it with applesauce, nuts and another time made it with fresh strawberries. YUMMMMMM!!!!

I need a starter for BOTH - Friendship Bread and Sourdough Bread. I have gotten out of bed many a night when I forgot to "feed" my Sourdough bread. LOL!!! I was thinking last week I wished I had a starter for the Friendship bread. I made so much of it a few months ago we got tired of it but I'd love to start again. If anyone has an extra or recipe for the starter of either, please let me know. TIA.

Isn't this the one that sits in front of West Georgia Flea Market? If so, you can definitely save a lot of money!! The inventory does change and it pretty much is the luck of the draw as to what they have in stock. But, there are always good deals to be found. And, I agree, it is sorta like a scavenger hunt and the thrill of the find. LOL. We always stop in when we go to shop the Flea Market. Another place full of treasures, if you hit it just right. Where did you hear it?? Last I heard they had interviewed the dad and then the mom a couple hours later while the sheriff's office babysat the children. I am convinced it was all a hoax, too, after watching a lot of the interviews and reading about the family. Not only an expensive hoax, but one that caught the interest of the country. I hope there will be some restitution that has to be paid, too. Also, I read where of the networks had a deal with them to do a reality show, but they have now canceled. That does sound YUM, will have to try it sometime. NOPE, don't drink it whatsoever. Do think it smells good, just do not like the taste of it. Here is another one that someone posted on here back in January. I have had it bookmarked all this time but have never tried it. Sounds good and easy, tho. Let me know if you try it. CROCK POT CHEESY POTATO SOUP 6 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped (6 cups) OR--you can use a large bag of Southern-style hash brown potatoes--the kind cut in cubes 2 1/2 cups water 1/2 cup chopped onion 2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon granules or 2 bouillon cubes 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (6 ounces) OR you can use cubed Velveeta in the same amount, if desired

gc1010 sent me this one last year. It is really good and easy: Cut and dice about 4/5 potatoes. Wash and fill the pan with water about 1 inch above the potatoes. 1/2 to 3/4 stick of butter (I cut it in little slices) and 3/4 to 1 cup of milk. Salt it pretty good. Cook it slow.

Congratulations Auntie! He is adorable - and brings back so many memories - DS was 4 lb 8 oz when he came home from NICU at 6 weeks old. And, they still use the same baby blankets in the nursery as they did almost 19 yrs ago!!!!
