No one in my family will put a vehicle in drive until everyone in the vehicle is buckled up. Just something we have always done and instilled in our children. The reasoning is strictly financial. Companies can build new buildings cheaper than they can take over older, existing buildings. And, then there is the additional expense of renovating to meet the needs.Plus many of these buildings are tied up with so many liens from contractors, sub-contractors, etc, etc, etc it would be impossible to unravel all the legal/financial mess. Or at least this is the answer I have always been given when I have asked. But, I agree with you - seems like a huge waste to me. Yeah and DH has wanted to build one across the street from Martin's. I agree - they have good coupons in the Savvy Shopper and also have great Early Bird specials (for future reference). Second recommendation is a little further drive but it would be Scalini's on Cobb Pkwy. They are owned by the same ppl as Provino's but I haven't been to either of their locations.

The Fall Festival scheduled for Panter Elementary tomorrow, October 10th is still on! Despite the prediction of rain, the festivities will go on. There will be jumpy things for the kids along with lots of other fun activities, food, vendors, etc. I will be there with a friend who will be selling Redneck Ladies/Girls shirts. They are VERY cute and Unique - not typical of anything you have seen before. So, plan to come on out and say HELLO. (I will be the one wearing a CRIMSON shirt. )

We haven't been to Bay Breeze in a couple of years but it is always very good with huge servings. We have never been to Sea Breeze but just Sunday we drove past it and I told DH it was owned by the same people. Whenever we are in D'ville and want seafood we always go to Red Lobster and usually go early enough to eat off the lunch menu so it is reasonable. But, we may have to step outside the box next time.

The store where DH works is wanting to donate cans (pints, 1/2 gallons, gallons) of white paint to flood victims. The store is in Buckhead but they saw all the damage and destruction in Paulding County on TV and want to make this donation. I knew someone on here could guide me to who I need to talk to coordinating this type of donations. I am sure there are those who need it to be able to paint the repairs made to their homes. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. DH can bring it to this side of town. THANKS!!
