I visit many building that are overbuilt with extra space. It's common sense to build for some type of growth. Who is going to build with the thought of downsizing? I'm not sure when the new complex was designed and architected but I'd think it was long before we knew we'd be in the economic situation we’re in now.

LPPT seems to have given you the best answer. Did you miss it?

State of the economy...in your own words, please?

For me it has been pretty darn good. There is a big need of people in my field and employers are tripping over themselves trying to find experienced employees. My opinion on the economy?? People with expendable incomes aren’t spending. I’m not rich, but I’m not hurting either. We haven’t made a big purchase in a long time. We bought a “new” car, but it was a low cost used one and at a great price. Extra money either goes in to savings or towards debt. I’ve sold things (like my boat I kept in a wet slip) that I can’t justify in keeping. In short I have made my financial foot print mu -
How is this subdivision? As a passerby it looks rather nice. Are there many children?

Many of them are. I get hit up five times or more a week by recruiters. Half the jobs are in the Atlanta area and half are not. Over the past couple months I've been getting emails from GM's internal HR looking of people to work at HQ. These jobs don't require a college degree. Every job I have taken (except the military) had listed a college degree as needed but I don't have one and still got hired. They require a certain skill set college isn't going to provide. America as a whole needs to take a look at our education system and retool it to fit the needs of country. It is very broken n

As much as I was against her while she was running I would much prefer her to be in office now. I made the mistake in thinking an unknown (Obama) would be better than what we knew about Clinton. I think many have learned their lesson. At least I hope so...
-
Blame Bush doesn't cover up the mistakes and missteps Obama has made. It has nothing to do with him as a person. It has everything to do with him as a leader. You’d have no problem seeing that is you were half as smart as you think you are.

I've already given my thoughts on the health care issue above. Re-read that… I'll sum it up as easily as possible for you: Romney is not Obama.
-
Wow... That is a heck of an accusation to make. I really hope you can prove it.
-
All that really matters is he is better than Obama. I’d vote for Hillary to get him out of office!

I hope prices are rising as I am buying a home, but I don't expect my current home to reach the same value I paid for it in 2002 for a long time. Luckily rates are so low I can refinance it with a payment that is much lower than average rent prices for the area. The rates and prices pushed us to look for a much nicer house. Rates can't stay this low forever. I think we're looking at a very long road to recovery on our areas home values.

A liberal is going to say that about every conservative nominee. I laugh every time I hear a liberal mention it because it is so flipping ridiculous.

1. I'm a conservative and have no problem with Romney's past when it comes to health care because it happened at the state level. If an individual state wants to create a socialized plan, its fine by me. 2. In my opinion you're a hard leftist so if I were running for office I'd take pride in having you say the things above about me. It'd mean I was doing the correct things.

The problem we're having is there are very few comparable in the area and the ones there are have been foreclosures/short sales selling at very low prices. From what I have seen it is a seller’s market for those selling very cheap or willing to gamble with trying to get a short sale. I'd prefer to buy a house in move in condition from an individual who can close in a month. Unless they have lived in it for 15+ years or put down half the purchase price they're sitting on a loan more than the house is worth. I don't want a sub $100,000 house. I want a $200,000 (today’s value) or better
-
We’re in the process of buying a house here in the county right around the corner from our current home. We’re trying to buy it for less than $80,000 than it sold for in 2005. I say trying because the appraisal just came back less than our agreed purchase price. Unreal what home prices are now…

I think karma has a way paying back those that do the right thing. Not long ago I purchased a "display" item at Best Buy that was significantly less than a new one. I walked around while they loaded my item in the truck. When I was getting ready to leave I checked it out and they had loaded a brand new unit that was a bit better... It took me longer to get them to come and get the wrong unit out of the truck than it did to load it. It caused a bit of confusion.

Do you even know what you're linking to?? When it comes down to it you are incapable of making a competent argument in favor of most of your "research" when tested with siple questions. At best you're only capable of following up with another link believing it somehow is going to justify you. Responding with "there are multiple definitions" or "it’s more complicated than that" are weak attempts at hiding your ignorance in what you're trying to defend. The economy is horrible for many Americans. Obama owns it at this point no matter how much you and other liberals want to think otherw

Obama and democrats had complete and total control of congress for two years. How can anyone honestly and intelligently imply Obama and the democrats are not responsible for our current state?? Democrats had control of congress for the last two years under Bush. That is four years of democrat control of the house out of the last five and five out of five years of democrat control for the senate. So you should be the one looking in the mirror pointing the finger of blame….

If people would do their research and stop blindly accepting hubbub from studies that use correlation and not provable statements they'd realize tanning responsibly isn't bad for you. In fact many studies are showing it can greatly reduce cancer rates.

You seem to have that problem with the majority of the people on this forum. Ever wondered why??
