I can wait while you think about it. Surely it is not that hard for you to answer....

Are you? How can you criticize one group for not allowing two consenting adults to marry then turn around and support the prohibition of two other consenting adults the same thing? Good grief! This is both entertaining and sad at the same time watching some of you try desperately to condemn one groups thinking only to follow it up with the exact same train of thought! And you want to paint others as inept, ignorant and stupid?? Look in the mirror and start pointing your finger... Think about this question carefully. If a mother and son want to marry each other and both are incapabl

I'll slow this down a little.... You are the one making an argument why consenting adults should be able to choose thier partners without limitations set by the government. Now you support the government preventing consenting adults from being able to pick their partners without limitations. Which is it? You own this one! You have said contradicting things and now what to cloud the issue by asking what the difference is between related and unrelated opposite sex marriages. Talk about a straw man! You either support consenting adults having the ability to choose a partner or you

First you tell us consenting adults should be able to marry who they want. Now you're telling us consenting adults can't marry who they want. Which it is? Are related couples in relationship incapable of giving consent or do you simply forbid them the opportunity? Why do you support one adult from consenting to their desired relationship but want to prevent another adult from theirs? It appears you have some big issues with your moral compass and should take a real hard look at where it is really pointing before telling someone else their views and beliefs are wrong. You can t

Well... I had hoped you'd be able to see reason... So you're trying to tell everyone consent can be given between two adults as long as they are not related? Explain to all of us what prevents two related adults from giving consent. Surely it is not because you don’t agree with incest and can’t accept two consenting related adults having a relationship… That cannot possibly be it… Could it?
-
Wrong. The argument is about two consenting adults. You can't pick and choose which consenting adults fit your argument. You either support all consenting adults having the ability to choose a partner or you don't. If you do not... well I hope even you can see the ridiculous level of hypocrisy in telling others what to believe!

Glad to see you're keeping this an honest discussion....

I see a bunch of liberals complaining about an individual’s ability to support his beliefs. Amazing how liberals want the ability and legal backing to force their views and beliefs into the views of everyone but cry like mad when someone else does it with something they disagree with.

How the heck can they justify that price? $50 would seem way high to me... I wish the network was capable of being honest and neutral with their coverage and shows. I'd listen to them more often and would be open to support them.

Because in your mind robbing an individual of what is lawfully theirs is better than robbing the government. You're really painting a rosy picture of your priorities here... To me it appears we have a concrete case of the pot calling the kettle black and certain individuals want to make an exception to their morals. You can try to cloud the waters as much as possible but I’m of the opinion most will see through the BS.

I consider personal debt worse than government debt. Anyone who has owned a business can learn real fast what mistakes the government on all levels can make. Case in point… A few years back I got a letter from the state saying I owed $48,000 dollars in back sales taxes. They came up with this number by pulling two months worth of purchases from a local supplier and averaged that over the entire year. Those two months happened to have very large purchases for equipment and supplies getting us ready for our busiest time. The amount was corrected, but I have no doubt it could have turned rea

I drive all over Atlanta at times and will be voting no. They have admitted it will not help my commute much if any at all. I haven't talked to a single person that is for it. -
Get an appraisal for your benefit. The buyer will still have to get one of their own but hopefully it’ll help you get an idea of what theirs will come back with. We just bought a house that had an appraisal come back less than our offer. The seller came to down to that price and I felt bad for them even though it worked in my favor. I’m not even going to attempt to sell my other house because the market is horrible. The sellers of this house had to basically give the place away… I will say having the owner selling it without having to get the bank involved is a big plus you should m

More on the satellite company & V company fight

Don't hold your breath. The major networks bundle their channels and require providers to carry them. It is not the cable companies that prevent this but the "channel" owners. -
You have no one to blame but yourself if the mortgage company “screwed” you. No one is forced in to a mortgage…

Mandatory military service would do much more for lower income children than rich kids. Getting out of a poor area and away from poor people is the first step towards raising yourself up economically. The next thing the military teaches you is responsibility. I can’t speak for the Air Force … but in the Marines you pretty much have no choice but to follow orders. You could disobey and slack off but it won’t end in a pleasant way.

There are gobs of IT positions that pay over $100,000 a year. They require skills the average joe isn't going to aquire quickly or possibly ever. IT is still very big and will continue to grow. Everything these days either requires IT skills or needs them and doesn't know it yet.

Dedicated and dependable workers make better workers. It has nothing to do with breaking the law. Because they are willing to do jobs we’re not or do it better doesn’t correct the fact they are here illegally.
-
Because they broke the law coming here... But that is another discussion all together.

The rates being paid have come up dramatically. I can assure you everyone at the higher levels of their fields are compensated well no matter what they nationality is. The same goes for "Mexicans" in the labor related fields. They charge as much as "American" laborers for the most part. The difference isn’t in the cost of work, it is the quantity and quality of work. "Mexicans" are dependable....

Have you looked outside of GA? I know for a fact the louisville KY area is hurting badly for laborers right now and will hire just about anything with a pulse. As for IT jobs... I'm hit up constantly by recruiters. Some have silly offers around half my current salary while others are comparable. As for the cheapest rate... A lower rate is better than no rate or living off the government in my book...

I'll add many areas in the IT industry are having issues finding qualified people as well. Jobs Employers Can't Fill How many of the jobs mentioned need college degrees??? How many require skills that can’t be taught in a traditional college???
-
I did. I know it is hard for someone who drinks the college Kool-Aid to accept, but trade based jobs require skills that are not taught in college.
-
You can quote as many articles as you want but it will not replace the fact many of the fields in demand today do not require a degree. Companies are fighting for trade skilled employees even in this crappy economy. If colleges were able to produce the needs to fill these positions you wouldn’t be seeing that. The biggest problem with all levels of school these days is you’re not taught how to think. My experience has been the more “educated” a person is the dumber they get. It isn’t true in all cases but usually fits. Some of the worst people I have worked with in my industry were the m

I know of many people who fit in the articles salary ranges that do not have degrees. Most of the people I work with fit right in between numbers 3 and 4. Again no degree required and companies are having a really hard time finding qualified people. The biggest lie being told to our youth right now is that college is mandatory to have a successful life. When it turns out they can’t make enough from their degree to pay off their student loans they’re lied to even more and told it’s because they don’t have enough “schooling” and need to rack up more debt and wasted days getting more. I
