I had a pin pal while in the military and letters were a bit odd in the beginning but it'll all work out after a while. Write about things that interest you and a basic background on who you are and what you do. After the first few letters it’ll all come together.

The same day we met our agent he had arranged for us to visit a house we were interested in. Within a day he had given us enough information to make a bid we felt comfortable with and he submitted it to the seller’s agent. The next day (Friday) we had agreed on a price and the following Monday had it under contract. Before this we had worked with another agent that would simply send us basic home listings in a wide price range and would take days to respond to questions. I’d say you need a new agent. Ours handled everything outside us picking the price we were comfortable with. He di

I don't work for minimum wage. I have great medical and vacation packages. I contribute to my own retirement accounts. I don't expect or desire someone/something else to take control of my employment and retirement responsibilities. I don't expect or desire someone/something else to take control of my employers hiring and firing responsibilities. I find new employment if I am unhappy with my job. My employer should be able to find a new employee if he is unhappy with me. Unions are not needed today. The government has taken responsibility for the areas unions provided value

I found an old dime that got me thinking about this. The silver content of the dime is worth $2.00! Coins would be something I could "play" with and it'll always be worth at least face value. =) MrsB, I'll head to the square in the furture to check it out and look at what the have.

I'm not familiar with it. I stop in to Antigues on the Square every now and then. Is is near there? Thanks!

So I'm thinking I might start buying silver and gold on a regular basis partly as an investment and partly because it seems like a fun idea. I have no investments in metals at the moment. I’ve never been one to jump on the metals bandwagon but figured since prices are lower I might start. Is there any place local that sells physical pieces close to spot? I’m kind of leaning towards coins since I used to collect them when younger. It’d add to the entertainment of it. I’ll probably end up being one of the fools who got in right before the bottom dropped out but at least this time aroun

What would you be willing to give up to keep your marriage

So you admit you have been stalking me for a while? Again... I need to see a picture before I'm open to your stalking. And to be honest with you... I am not as sexy as I sound on Paulding. -

It probably isn't the church then... -

I know I said I didn't realize I was supposed to give up sex after marriage but that wasn't an open invitation for you to start stalking me. I’d need to see a picture of you first before I am open to that… Talk to the pastor at the church about it. You'd think the church would be in support of marriage. -

Sounds to me like you don't have much of a choice… Picking a church isn't much different than picking another person over a spouse. Either way that person is putting their faith in to something else and not you. Even if you decide to attend and accept the church you'll always know you were second in line. -

I am having a hard time grasping this. What about the church did the spouse choose over you? Do you disagree with the church or the beleifs in the church or something else? -

Dang it! All these years I thought I was supposed to give that up when I got married. Didn't realize I was supposed to keep it as a bargaining chip to keep my marriage. Boy do I feel dumb! This might sound harsh, but it depends on who I was married to and what was going on at the time. -

I've already given up happiness. Everything else should be easy... -
Immigration - The problem I have with that is twofold… The first is a “smart” company could create plenty of scapegoats to shield the people truly responsible for hiring illegals. The send is in many cases the hiring manager doesn’t have a say in the background checks of an employee. Many times its HR that handles those and simply gives a “yes or no” to the manager. Job reform – I agree we have too many uneducated people. My belief is the current education system, from high school through college, is causing it. I’m not against college but feel there should be a reason other than “you’re

Tax reforms - Flat tax/Fair tax. Everyone except the extremely poor pay in to the system at the same percentage of income. Prison Reform - I am for much shorter sentences that give much higher levels of discomfort. Prison should be really hard with no form of luxury. Welfare Reform - Start over. Too many programs run poorly. Too much waste and abuse. Welfare should be like prison and give a high level of discomfort. Disability is a separate issue. Legislative reforms - The field is pretty much even when it comes to money. Liberals are up in arms right now but they were conten

We use Waste Industries and like them. We pay yearly and get a few months free so it drives the price down. They have been the most reliable trash service we have ever had and very easy to work with whenever we called them. I tried some smaller players over the past 10 years and always ended up with problems. Waste Industries has been solid from day one.

I would not work in a position that required me to join a union. It simply would not happen. It would be highly unlikely I'd work for a company that had a union footprint. I will never again put myself in a position where seniority is the key metric. It breeds laziness and kills the desire and need to better ones self.

Reach out to you current lender and and about the VA streamline refi. When we purchased our house they rolled the VA fees into the loan. This seems to be common because the refi was going to do the same thing. My current lender isn't rolling anything in to the loan and the offering credits that cover the rest.
-
Yes. You need to find a bank that will do a VA streamline without an appraisal if your house is less than you owe. The lender I am working with now will have the ability to do this in July. I was doing it through my current lender but the closing costs were way high in comparison so I am waiting till July.

We're buying another house here in the county. My credit took a big hit recently because of my own mistake but I was still able to get a rate of 3.75% with the option of going lower if I gave up some lender credits. It made sense for me to keep the 3.75% because I have no fees being rolled into the loan and no closing costs outside my down payment. We're buying a house for about $100,000 less than it was purchased for in 2005 and it has had several upgrades and updates since then. I’m kind of kicking myself for not starting to look at houses a year ago…

I wish we had the option to do this here. I'd love to take a golf cart to the store instead of my car! I have an older electric one that'll go at least 8 miles on a charge. I suspect it'll go much further but haven't had a chance to go further. The biggest problem is speed. You better not be in a hurry while trying to get somewhere but it sure beats walking!!
-
If cows could fly they wouldn't walk... You're trying to change the argument. Every employer is going to take the biggest bang for the buck. The issue lies with young adults getting theirs. In regards to the tech industry, do they rack up insane amounts of debt and waste time learning things that don't help them acquire the skills needed for their chosen field in order to go to college or not? I'll ask the question a little differently this time... If you had two equal people in front of you with the same entry level work experience, one with a CCNP or MSCE and one with a college de

You must have missed the part where I said a person would be better off getting certified instead of dropping money on a degree. If a person can't complete a mid-level certification in a year of dedicated study then they shouldn't be in the industry. Would you hire a person applying for a position that has a CCNP/MSCE or the one who just left college? In my opinion college is not worth the money if trying to get in to tech. A "lab rat" with certifications and no real work experience is going to have more proven core knowledge than a college grad walking out the door.

I'm always puzzled when people have a hard time understanding basic supply and demand principles.
