Spent a good amount of time there while in the Military. For the most part people don't understand how good we have it here. My kid attended private school for a while and it was a disaster. We’re in public school now and much happier. There are no plans to change but I still support charter schools. There needs to be competition in the market the helps weed out the bad schools/teachers. As it has been stated, there are lots of teachers that shouldn’t be teaching and many others that should have never been let go. I've been here for about 10 years. It is as much a home as anywhere else. We just purchased a new home a couple miles from our old. We could have bought one anywere but we choose to stay for a few reasons: 1. we like the school our child is in 2. commuting isn't bad from here when I have to do it 3. the deal on the new house was really good 4. its very convenient to have everything we need close by I originally moved here because there was a better value for my money in the housing market.
