Years ago my aunt kept getting it like you. She was getting it from her son's jeans when she washed them so she started wearing rubber gloves when doing his clothes. Then she washed the gloves in hot water and soap before taking them off. Worked for her.

I taught remedial math in HS for 13 years. Those kids had been kicked to the curb early on as math illiterate. A few were but for the most part, they just needed some individual help. I had a football player in my class who told me that he had never understood fractions and never would. I asked him to let me try to explain it to him and he got it! We were so excited, the whole class was actually. When we'd check HW or CW he would cheer as I called out the answers. Soon we had pep rallies every day, and he graduated!
