If your daughter drives a newer dark gray Toyota Camry

haha. That's why it costs more to insure young people. They think they are bulletproof. It takes some getting used to. I don't know how parents let high school aged kids drive to Florida for Spring Break. I would have a heart attack. -
I hope someone knows if the man was ever actually charged or tried. That little boy deserves justice. Remember Amy Yates? She was murdered in a trailer park in Carrollton in 2004. They waited too long to prosecute (after they put an innocent kid in jail for two years) and now they have dropped the charges against the killer: http://times-georgian.com/bookmark/6489600

I hate to see this happening to a young couple with young kids. It makes it so much harder to get ahead in life.

I like you.

Hahaha. If Carlos steals a computer, your azz is in trouble!

Scary. I have a friend who let their house foreclose because it didn't sell for two years and they finally just had to quit paying it and move. This is a responsible family that had a change in employment. I don't think the end is in sight. How much worse will it get? Truly scary.

I second that! PUBBY should do a "Thieves Corner" forum. lol.

37K for a house. How much did you pay for yours? Our subdivision just had it's first foreclosure. How much lower will my house value go? We all need to try to get along because we are all STUCK in Paulding county.

Lol. I love street justice. Your post will get edited most probably, but I admire your spirit! (Fixed the name in mine, too.)

OMG. That is the most depressing thing I have read in a long time.
-
Lol. You totally know the cops rolled up on his house expecting to see a lady in distress not some guy with two Chihuahuas dressed in matching sweaters.
-
I think you should have to pay extra for using more policing than I do. You really called the cops when you locked your keys in the trunk? And how in the world did you do that? And doesn't your car have one those seats you can fold down and crawl into the trunk?

Why does everyone get so riled up about this? Obese people know it isn't healthy. Smokers know it isn't healthy. Both will have increased medical costs as a result. Both can change behaviors associated with their conditions and fix their own situations. BOTH are addictions. I think the only way to settle this in a fair manner is a foot race. 10 miles, no stopping. Whoever lives is right.

As sad as it is, the school nurse is the only "doctor" some kids get to see. If there aren't nurses in the schools, DFACS has to be contacted. If you get rid of two BOE personnel and combine jobs, there is money for nurses. The nurses aren't getting rich. I know one. They make little more than parapros and usually work at schools so they can be home for their own children. There are parapros assigned to watch just ONE child in most schools. Get rid of a parapro and only one kid has to adjust. Get rid of a nurse and all the kids are a little less cared for and safe at school. Beside

H1N1, MRSA, diabetes on the rise, food allergies, meds out the wahoo. NO WAY I want to have anything to do with that. We used more paddles than meds in those days...

Hopefully just appeals and NOT a retrial. I am still disgusted by this case. I remember some of the details and I really wish I didn't. Who raised these boys? I remember teaching one of them and NEVER meeting the parents. I always wanted to know who could produce three such wastes of human DNA.

From what I understand, which at times is very little, the four day work week would keep teachers from being furloughed. Teachers would still put in 40 hours and get full pay. The savings comes from building and transportations costs (and probably screws the lunch ladies and bus drivers and custodians and non-certified staff). I liked the idea until I thought about my co-workers (bus drivers, lunch ladies, custodians, office personnel). Now, not so much. Band together drivers, cooks, cleaners, and under-appreciated staff! I'm with you! I know you don't make enough already and if they cut y

That's an odd question to ask a stranger. Ask her how much she weighs, too. lol.

Wealthier families are more likely to "take care" of the "problem". Rich kids hump as much as poor kids. It's laughable to think they don't.

Make sure to run your hose for a good bit when they turn it back on. When they work on the lines debris can enter the system and get lodged in your expensive tub/shower valves. Last one cost me over $200 to get fixed. It also gets rid of the aerated water (that people think magically turned white).

Never share: Food, drinks, makeup, deoderant, underwear, shoes. All icky.

Dang. Now I'm curious. I know, it killed the cat, but still...

I don't understand the "everything else is bad for you so this OK" argument. If you aren't bothered by the possible negative effects on children under 18, your choice. You decide what is right for your child. I just can't imagine knowing how bad they are and still allowing it. Brains grow until kids are about 21. Large amounts of caffeine are now being linked to Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, anxiety disorders, and type 2 diabetes. Aside from that, the body's cells only regenerate during deep sleep. If your child is "amped" and not getting into that deep sleep enough, the body can't repair cell

I wonder if they have that show on Youtube? That would be good for all kids to see. One of mine started drinking those energy drinks at 18. She is 19 and has just recovered from a bleeding ulcer. Her doctor told her it was probably the energy drinks and that they are starting to see it more and more in young people.
