Supreme Court rejects corporate campaign spending limits

Not sure what to think here... Either you no longer view me as a conservative, which would severely hamper Zoo's opinion, or that not all conservatives are cheering the original decision. -
Supreme Court upholds key part of Arizona immigration law

I have to have my driver's license on my person in order to leglly drive. I have to prove identity, address, age and residency in many other instances. Our laws clearly establish even that as a legal citizen. There are no requirements for me to carry them just to go out though. But if questioned by an LEO I would be easily able to provide info leading to proper id. With that said, the law says that "visitors" here are required to keep certain forms of ID on their person at all times because without it, it would be quite difficult to positvely ID them due to a lack of history in the US. It is -
Supreme Court rejects corporate campaign spending limits

This whole concept just bugs me. I see the case for support and I have to say, if the unions can do this then why not business. I just abhore the thought of soo much money being funneled into any politician's campaign fund. This just makes the individual's voice less and less important in politics. But as I said, the logic is sound in the arguement and I will not go against that. -
The fact that many here in GA had jobs related to residential and commercial construction which got severely hammered would be the primary reason as far as I can tell.

So let me lay this out for you. In Georgia a candidate can not win election without a majority of the votes. (50% +1). That means if there is a GOP ,Dem and an Ind. and the votes are 51% / 45% / 4% the GOP candidate wins. If it was 40/40 /20, no one wins and the GOP and Dem go to a run off. I actually love this rule because it allows independant candidates a better chance to win. Voters need not worry too much about wasting a vote. Anyway the DOJ has no issue with that. They have an issue with the fact tht the runoff is 30 days from the general election and they say it is insufficient time fo

God knows why but I'll try one more time TP. More people live in certain areas of the state. In those areas there are many more chances for a foreclosure. Most of those are for homes more recently purchased and or are starter homes. Someone that is in their 2nd or 3rd home is far less likely to be foreclosed. Then there is the added part where in recent years many people who werenot ready were still put in their first home. In short more foreclosures in places with higher populations of starter and low priced homes as well as generally higher numbers of homes. but if you want to think that Nor

I would, but I don't. I have a Honda Shadow Spirit 750. My first bike. Hopefully my wife will take over that one when I step up to a bigger bike. I'm ready, she is not.

Read the above posts before you make yourself look any more less inteligent .

No that would be a different cause. Cobb as a whole is not starter homes except in south Cobb. The average home in Cobb is $250k+. The owners of these homes are more stable than those in starter homes. Paulding has more starter homes than 2nd & 3rd homes. Thus the reason there are more foreclosures as well as only 1/6 the Population of Cobb. There would have to be a whole bunch more foreclosures in Cobb for them to have the same %. If there were 10,000 in Paulding, then there would have to be 60,000 in Cobb for the same over all %. But in general the higher rate of forecloures in Northa

This wasn't a joy ride. He had an appointment and wanted to go on the motorcyle. So we did. Saved about $10 gas bytaking it too. I only mentioned the relaxation thing in contrast to today's aggravation. I general head west as well when I want to relax.

PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE WHILE IN CONDITION "BROWN"!!! Had to take take Dis jr. to the doctor over in East Cobb. He wanted to ride on the motocycle and the weather was nice but a little hot. I always remember that I am harder to see than a car or truck and drive accordingly. Anyway, today everyone's mind was somewhere other than on their driving. I am fairly patient at a red lights while waiting for the lead car to go, but 5 - 10 seconds is pushing it. 3 times I had to "beep" at the car in front of me to get them to go. One even had about 5 cars go by while we were on Concord crossing S. Cobb.

Use a little common sense TP... Those areas are where the denser population centers in GA are. You take one home in metro Atlanta that is half an acre. Take one in central GA and it is a couple of hundred.

Is "Vagina" a Word That Merits an "Offensive" Label?
nschur replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
No, not offensive. I would wonder though what the response would have been if a male member (no pun intended) had used penis or testicles while discussing, say prostrate cancer legislation. Especially from the females. Apparantly ma'am is already offensive to some. -
I was wondering about the Chinese food thing. Dangit... now I want Chinese food for lunch.

I know we can ignore individual posters, which is a joke since ignore will not "ignore" their post if some other person replies to it. Can we "ignore an entire topic, you know as in making it go "poof" from the viewable topics in our own list. I sure would like to see about 5 or 10 go poof so I would not have to keep scrooling past them. I SWEAR to you TP if you post some of your bullcheeze in this topic I WILL HAVE the Mods delete it or make the whole dang topic go "poof" on principle.

Why? I mean really... Why would they want to do this. I can't think of any rational explanation.

Besides cutting folks lawns, my first real job was at Six Flags in the early 80's.

K.I.S.S. = Theory in action... Move your butt out of this state since you obviously hate it so much. Try California, New York, Illinois or maybe the NorthEastern States. I'm sure you can find someone up there that might actually be able to make sense of the crap you post here. -
Way back when I was growing up my parents had a stipulation on there policy for no unmarried driver under 25 on their cars while I. Had my own vehicle "assigned" for me to drive. Can we not do that anymore? I got my motorcycle license last year at Canton rd. Fast and not too crowded.
