Interesting enough, a plane went down on the old drag strip across from Paulding #3 a couple of years ago. We responded and they did not even know there was a plane down there. As far as the airport goes, Cobb does not have a "crash truck" either. We would just use what we have. We do have 2 Haz-mat stations though and are part of most mutual aid aggreements in the Metro area.

We haven't heard anything in Cobb yet. But if they send a truck it will likely be T-13.

***Warning*** Long story about water heater Got home from the station and everything was normal / fine. I came in through the basement. So I get ready to start my day of grass cutting. I go out through the basement. In the brief time that I was home it seems that the water heater had gone Tango Uniform. I now had a basement full of water. When I go to find the source I see the water heater with water just flowing out of the top and down the sides. I went to the North Cobb location ( Canton Rd. at Piedmont rd.) on Tuesday. I got there right at 0730. I was done testing and had my permit by about 0830.

I was looking at these yesterday. All the ones linked to to DDS are Sat / Sun and you must attend both days. will have to wait until the last weekend in July for my next Weekend off. But the class IS on my Priority list of things to do. I have already had the ATV course. Oddly enough Alpharetta does not come up on that list and they used to have wekday classes as well.

Well, it was a long day. Had to go to D'ville to drop off the kids for a visit with granny. Then it was off to Chattanooga. Got there just before lunch time. I had already spoken with the salesman when we first left and he was going to make sure the motorcycle was prepped and ready. We start to finalize the deal and add on a pair of gloves and a helmet for my wife. Then we wait for the loan lady. And Wait... And wait some more. Then I start hearing the thunder. I didn't think it was supposed to rain today, but it is summer in the south and I AM buying my first motorcyle. We finally finish up
