Fall of 2008... hmmm,,, Wife and I were both employed, I had a raise in 2007 even though HC and pension costs went up. The price of gas is about $3.60 / gal Fast-forward to now... wife has been unemployed for 8 months now. I have not seen a raise since 2007 even with a HC and pension plan increase each and every year since then. Gas is still about $3.60 / gal and has been that or higher for most of the last year. Staple food prices are through the roof. Now we are hearing about having to "do our part" and pay higher taxes so others still do not have to. Something that cost $100 in 2008 would n

We do not care how they do it up there in Michigan. We are in Georgia. The SCOTUS ruled that it was Constitutional and that EACH state would have to make its own determiniation as to how they ran these programs which all still had to pass constitutional muster. I have provided you the links that prove this and that explain Georgia's guide rules. While in Georgia, you follow these rules regardless of how you do it in Michigan.

http://www.georgiadu...roadblocks.html As Americans, we are protected under the U.S. Constitution from unreasonable searches and seizures. However, in 1990 the Supreme Court made a decision that sobriety checkpoints set up by police officers were not a violation of the Fourth Amendment. Leaving specific laws regarding sobriety checkpoints up to each state, the Supreme Court also ruled that sobriety checkpoints must be minimally intrusive. In the state of Georgia, police officers are required to set up sobriety checkpoints with public safety in mind. This means they should not

You might want to check up on the law before giving advice. http://www.statehighwaysafety.org/html/stateinfo/laws/checkpoint_laws.html

As far as I remember, Should the dog alert, then that can be relayed as PC to the magistrate for a warrant by phone but not as PC for a warrantless search. I could be wrong on this part. I would likely say no unless the officer has told me exactly why and what he is seaching for.

I should also ad that as part of that database and its required reporting, if you cancel the insurance, the insurance company is required to report the cancellation to the state. That is where the revokation of your license comes from. But, if you change companies the new one will report the new coverage at the same time the old reports the loss of coverage.

Ok... From an ex-LEO...First off Driving is a privilidge not a right. You do have the absolute right to obtain a driver's license which is issued and controled by the state. With that and the fact that driving, by its very nature is very dangerous and needs a very large amount of rules, regulations and oversight in order to provide the safest environment in which drivers and all other citizens come together. We can not just let anyone that wants to drive just get out on the road without knowing the safety rules. Also failure to follow those rules can and will lead to your loss of your drivers

Papi, I wish I could send the boy of 2 years ago over to visit without his meds. He has made sooo much progress but is still a handful. Today it has become much easier to just be forceful and tell him empatically no or yes and have him be poochy lipped but accept it. Mind you, he is on meds and goes to counseling regularly. But 2 years ago a BEATING meant absolutely nothing to the boy. Here is an example. In my garage, which has a 12' ceiling, there is a 4' deep storage shelf above the bay doors. It is used for bulh storage and has boxes of his toys, that he refused to pick up on them. Since h

I think soy is ok, we use silk which I believe is from Almonds. Remember to read what Dr. Denmark has to say about these things. She is a wealth of knowledge having lived to over 112.

Try to take him off of milk. I swear it hypes up certain kids. Try to see if he calms down after a few days. If not you may need to try something different. But you have to tell his teacher and cafeteria "no milk" as well.

Woman!! keep it up and you will not ride with me anymore.

My first ride invite!!! and I have to turn it down. :cray: It is my son's Birthday and the family is coming over for his party, a rib dinner (his request) cake and ice cream. Did you know they made a dairy free ice cream? He can't have dairy. You guys have a great ride, be safe, have fun and don't forget me next time.

No shorts no white under shirt as his shirt AND he was wearing shoes and socks!! :yahoo: Ok... so he actually was wearing shorts under his jeans but I made him take them off while he tried this on. And he did promise he would wear it... for a few select occasions. Nathansm.bmp

I believe that there is a lot to do with this as well. I have several food allergies and EE (esonphillic esophagitis) an allergic reaction that causes swelling in the esophagus. My son has it as well. We first noticed his reactions to red dye #40. WE have also done a good bit of research into Dr. Denmark's views of Milk allergies. We took my son to an allergist and had the EE confirmed through a pediatric specialty group at Emory children's HC downtown using a scope and biopsy in his esophagus. It turns out that he is allergic to diary and gluten. We had already modified his diet for the milk

I disagree!! Is it used too much? YES. I will be the first to tell you, I have tried EVERY parenting trick there is for behavior issues. When you get called into DEFACS for "beating your kid" while trying to diciplne them the very same day the school just called you in for a 45 min meeting with the Princ. VP, Coun. Teacher and school psychiatrist because of his bad behavior on the 7th day of Kindergarten, THEN you know there is aproblem and it is not just the lack of involved parenting.

My daughter has ADD an my son ADHD / ODD. They will not just make a diagnosis willy nilly on this and start meds. You have to have documented observations over time by multiple independent sources in order to get the diagnoseis at that age. My daughter is 3 years older than my son but was given her dignosis a year or more after him. She was falling behind and was unable to focus. He on the other hand was very hard tohandle from the time he started pre K 3. Some of his signs mimic Autism. We have ruled that out as well as Asperger's syndrome. ODD is Oppositional Defiance Disorder and my feel

Elections have consequences... That's what we were told after the 2008 elections.

A +10 for you. I just heard a Liberal try to defend the "double dip" by saying we just have never really come out of the first one so it can't be a "double dip". Then my question to them would be what about the recovery summer stuff and "he got us out of the recession" comments? You can't argue this from both sides.
