I have no reason to have a Mac but our 19 yo son loves his. I don't need that sophicated of a computer. He customized his Mac when we purchased it. He loves playing guitar, piano, mandolin, trumpet,etc & records directly to his Mac. He absolutely loves it for college. I think it depends on what you will use the computer for. I doubt he will ever go back to a PC again. They are just so darned expensive, especially customized. I think it was worth it though.

Yes, it was back in May. They are Apple certified. Its called Tetra Soft, not far from Berry College. The list of certified Apple techs are on their web site. Its had Tetra Soft on there. We also called Mac & said the closest was northpoint mall.

You could have taken it to Rome. They are on the list for Macs.

Doesn't bother me as long as its not in the middle of the medians or near highways. Had rather give a dollar than buy something that I don't need. I see them at Sams & Walmart, that should be a safer place.

worth it if they want to go to a more difficult college to get in such as GT & UGA. They need to be active in Beta, National honor society, etc also. & a good SAT score. A well rounded student is what colleges look for plus you get more scholarship money handed to you.

You will not get into colleges such as Ga Tech & UGA without honors & Ap. You still be a honor graduate without taking honors classes. You will not get the scholarships without honors & AP

Got one in middle school, 7th grade. She played softball & needed a way to let me know when practice was cancelled or ended early. Plus just to feel safer around the school & at friends houses.
