Overit you need to get over yourself..........Kim Cobb is on the school board for ALL students and I know for a fact that she does not "shoot from the hip." I also know for a fact that Kim does not have an ego. She is the most genuine, caring, intellectual person I know. How can you hide behind your screen name and throw stones when you don't really know her? Or this situation as far as that goes!!

John Denver songs do the same thing to me. His songs got me through some of my most difficult times as I watched my Mom suffer and die from cancer. I love his songs but they always bring back those memories.

I respectfully disagree. Have any of you in this thread spent time in a public school lately? I teach in a school where common sense is alive and well. I believe that is the case in most public schools in this area. The obstacles that administrators and teachers face are tremendous but we persevere. No one is infallible but I believe they get it right a majority of the time. Also, remember, there are two sides to every story. When did you "turn" on the Paulding County School System?

I'm curious.....what about the days before all of the healthy diet and exercise awareness? I know there weren't as many fast food options but the home cooking certainly wasn't always healthy. I know that people were more active back in the day. Again, they cooked with sugar, butter, lard, and most options were fried. I don't care about Paula Deen one way or the other but for there to be so may Paula Deen haters on here she sure does make a lot of money....Her Southern Cornbread Dressing recipe is divine!

I hope this is not the case but I had that problem several years ago and it turned out the my hearing was going. I felt a fullness in my ears that never went away. I do pray that this is not the case with your grandmother. It is a helpless feeling.
