  1. I agree that it does no good, however, knowing that many voters voted for her because of the R by her name truly is hard to get past. The voters need to educate themselves and investigate candidates thoroughly. I know firsthand of her inabilities, however, I will pray that she steps up in her new role.
  2. She spews rhetoric from her buddies in the Paulding Co. GOP........ Have you heard her communication skills in a board meeting????
  3. That touched my heart. I lost my Mom to breast cancer as well. She has been gone almost thirty years and not a day goes by that I don't think of her and miss her.
  4. Here's my story........we lived in our house for 21 years. We got behind because of health/medical bills, missed work for surgery, hubby's hours were cut and he was eventually laid off, and a few other minor occurrances. We always kept in touch with the mortgage company and did our best to catch up. We finally started a loan modification with Countrywide Mortgage. I called almost every day to ask the status. They said it was still being processed. In the midst of waiting for the loan mod to go through Bank of America bought out Countrywide, that's when things went South. They turned down
  5. I totally agree with you about Tranquility. I had an aunt and a very close friend that passed away there. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is so peaceful. The rooms give you a feel of home and comfort for the final moments of a loved ones life. My Mom died of cancer almost thirty years ago. She died in a gloomy hospital room. While the nurses were awesome and very loving and caring, I wish we had had a place such as Tranquility for her to spend her final days/hours.
  6. Yes they do, however, Barnes is running many ads calling out Deal for the very same thing..........

  9. I went back at 46 years old and graduated this past May. I don't regret it, I finally fulfilled my dream to teach. I did better this time around than when I was younger because I seemed to be more focused. Math was my biggest challenge, always has been and always will be. Go for it! Good luck!
  10. It has already been stated in another thread. School nutrition funds are totally separate from the general fund. These cameras were purchased with school nutrition funds!
  11. First let me say that I do not know Mr. Cochran, The Cochran Family, and I did not vote for Beverly Cochran for several reasons however, please remember that this man is innocent until proven guilty. As the family member of a person that was falsely accused of sexual assault, we found it to be the other way around. People assume guilt when sexual assault or molestation is involved. Praise God my family member was cleared of all charges and the accuser was found guilty of lying about the entire incident. While Mr. Cochran may be guilty, this has to be proven in a court of law. Just remindin
  12. 1) Steak and Shake South Cobb Dr. 2) Six Flags and last but not least Zayre's Dept. Store on Austell Rd. Those were the days!
  13. It has been a while but I believe I did create it in MS word. I guess I will just do that again. I just thought it would be easier to make a change in Adobe. Oh well...

  16. David was a great guy. My husband used to work with him and thought alot of him. He is in shock and can't believe David is gone. Can someone PM me and tell me what happened, was it an accident or illness? My husband has not spoke to him in a while but thought about him not to long ago and never got around to calling him. RIP David.......
  17. I was an angry American as well when I received my letter two weeks ago. I hold a public office and could not believe my eyes. I went to the courthouse with birth certificate and supporting documents in hand and voted that day. UNBELIEVABLE!!
  18. Dear Friends, Over the past 3 1/2 years, I have served as a Paulding County School Board Member and School Board Chair for the last 1 1/2 years. I have worked hard to advocate for the students of Paulding County. For fifteen years prior to being elected to school board, I volunteered, substitute taught, and served in many capacities within the Paulding County School District. Anyone that knows me or has worked with me knows my passion for education and the students of the district. I have attended many events involving students and school system employees. I have sat in the office of ma
