I knew the original owners and loved Bumble Bee Bakery......they were in business for quite a while and had good products. They sold the bakery to someone else a few months back and it was never the same. I went in one time after they changed owners and it was terrible. You must sell a quality product if you hope to make it in the small business world.

Thank you all for the ideas! I am looking into them all. I really want to do the meal prep on Sunday but that is my only day to spend with family and rest. I may just have to suck it up and do it. The meal delivery is very tempting but just not sure it's in the budget. I'm weighing my options. Thanks again!

I am the caregiver for my father who is 76 years old and has COPD. He cannot drive due to his health problems. I buy his groceries, administer his medication, take him to doctors appts.and clean his house. I also am a teacher. During the summer, I have more time to care for him but when school is in, it is much more difficult. I am trying to simplify things to keep my sanity. Show me a county, city, state, etc. where politicians are involved, that doesn't have a good ol' boy system. It's alive and well everywhere.

I'm curious.....what makes Douglas County any worse than Paulding County? Keep in mind, this young man was from Alabama. Douglas County is just off of the expressway and many incidents in Douglas take place as a result of someone deciding to pass through the county. From what I have heard in the news, both counties have had their share of tragedies, crime, injustices, etc. I'm not sure any county in America is exempt from crime and injustices in this day and time. Just my opinion.

It has come to the point where we are voting for the lesser of two evils, but I heard a point yesterday that I had not thought of. Many evangelicals refused to vote for Mitt Romney because he is a Mormon and look what we have. I am a Christian but I knew that Mitt Romney (and he has faults) was far better suited to be president than Obama, in my opinion. If the American people don't wake up it will be too late to take our country back. Again, my opinion.

I think his solution is simple.......take money from the rich and give to the poor, and give to the poor, and give to the poor. Isn't that already happening? I sincerely believe in helping those that are truly in need but to intentionally take away from people that have worked hard for the money is just wrong. Yes, there are evil rich people and evil poor people. Government should NOT intervene in these matters. I work with some of the children in poverty and I help them any way I can but you can bet that many of them have a cell phone, the latest $200 pair of tennis shoes, a flat screen tv, and they get free school lunches. I'm serious.....

My husband started his welding career 33 years ago at Bankhead Enterprises. They helped him get experience and really taught him alot. Good luck young men......it's a tough, hot job especially in the summer but it's always put food on our table.

Yes, I just read where they were both pronounced dead at the scene......names have been released, Paula and Bruce Strange. Not that it really matters but I grew up in that area.....the Kroger where this took place is on Dallas Hwy. across from The Avenues. The Kroger further up toward Marietta is considered Whitlock Avenue.....it changes names just beyone Cheatham Hill Cemetary. Prayers for this family....

I LOVE happy endings! I have rescued numerous dogs and found them loving homes but my very own furbaby went missing several years ago and was gone a week and a half. Thank God for some precious folks that went the extra mile to find us and reunite us with our Sandy! God Bless you Dana!
