I think it was a live person. I just hope it wasn't somebody I know. I would not want to know a friend's ears were hurting today. If I had answered the phone I might have asked who was funding it and might have an answer.

Somebody called in the middle of our dinner last night. Hubby answered and in a few seconds I heard this great big loud bear growl. That went on for a second or two then he slammed the phone down. I thought he was choking and asked him what in the world was wrong. He said not only did the person on the phone interrupt his dinner but they wanted him to vote himself another tax. I have been laughing every time I think of it. You just had to be here to get how funny it was. Don't think they won him over.

Did you know that the kid who was arrested for throwing the bleach is being held by ICE. Not sure if they will put him on trial here or just deport him. It is fortunate that the boy who was hit will not lose his sight.

More class warfare. That is how Obama and his cronies got elected. I was never envious or angry with folks who made more than my family did. I just wanted to make sure we worked for the education and opportunity to compete for the jobs that EARNED good money. Capitalism has made this country great, envy and the nanny state will destroy it. JMO

The conditions that allowed the loans to be made were brought about because of progressives/liberals like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. It is well documented that Bush tried to stop the abuse. Will still won't get my vote. He should have registered to run on another ticket if he did not want to be judged as a progressive/liberal. By his own admission he is a Democrat and makes no apology for that. He will have to run as one.

No! But I am aware of the cost that is coming and it is Obama's baby and the deficit we have now is too. I say no thanks to that kind of agenda in Georgia and that means no thanks to that cute kid Will.

You have a lot of moxie to compare the deficit of Bush to that of Obama and crew. Have you looked at the national debt? Obama is about to sink America. I heard one person compare the debt to a cancer that is about to devour us. The progressive movement and the nanny state mentality is what has done this and it was expanded under Roosevelt. If the banks and mortgage companies had not been forced to give mortgages to folks who could not afford them, add Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac into the mix, we would not be on the brink of collapse.

The BOE has a meeting on the Millage rate on July 27th. It was announced in the Dallas New Era.

I think the Party you should be referring to is headed by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. No way would I vote to further that agenda.
