That was against the District 19 candidate this crap is being stirred against the lady in the post 2 commission race. The ladies are getting hit it seems. The stuff on the harassment was a bunch of bull.

I don't mean to give you the impression that I am okay with this. On the other hand, I don't want to see the verification and citizenship requirement thrown out the window because there are some mistakes. They need to get their ducks in a row and stop the mistakes.

Small potatoes compared to what Obama and crew have in store for Americans. I have no issue proving my citizenship. I have a birth certificate and I don't think it would take the head of the BO Elections in Paulding any time at all to fix it right up. I would get really PO'd if I had to do it more than once though. The only thing I worry about is going to the polls and finding that some one has stolen my identity and voted in my name.

The whole point in showing your ID at the polls is to prove you are a valid qualified voter and your ID is proof of that. The ID must be valid for you to be able to vote.

No one is saying that he/she is guilty. They are just asking for verification. I had to show my drivers liscense when I voted yesterday and I was not at all offended. I do have a problem with having to show ID when you have done nothing and the officials are not working with the ICE program. In that case I don't think they arrest anyone for being illegal. Maybe I am wrong about that.

No, I think you missed the point. It can happen to an America Citizen too and it doesn't matter what color they are. Why, because the system is not perfect but it is all we have. We can't overlook the breaking of the law because we may have to show that we are citizens. JMO

I will be accused of partisanship if I get into that too much. One High ranking Republican has said that Obama told him he did not want to seal the borders because his Comprehensive Immigration Bill (Amnesty) would not get any traction if he did. He also wants the Hispanic vote to keep him in office.

There is a great deal of evidence that Terrorists are sneaking across the borders into America pretending to be Hispanics. They are even learning Spanish. I think ALL border states need to adopt this law to protect their citizens from crime and to protect Americans from terriorists. The Arizona law mirrors the Federal law and does not discriminate.

I won't give you a negative. You are entitled to your opinion. I would like to know how the color of some one's skin makes a difference where the question of illegals is concerned. Last time I checked those who are here illegally come in all colors.

I am not going to disagree with you about it being a positive thing to do. I was just using the figure another poster said it cost. That poster seemed to know what they were talking about. Maybe you can read the earlier posts and pm them to find out if they do know for sure.

Why wait until Tuesday? Why not early vote and make sure there are no issues. It is my understanding that you get to vote a provisional ballot until things are cleared up. I hate this but I am glad our state is making this effort. Mrs. Holden (here in Paulding) has found a number of felons who have tried to vote in Paulding.
