I have no quarrel with the truth that appears in some of the fliers!!!! There really is no escaping the truth when it comes to campaigns. I do hate the twisting of it or out and out lies. I did pick it up and I spoke to one of the original 5 folks who started the TEA Party here in Georgia. He said you will not find an endorsement for anyone by the Tea Party in that voter guide. I had to give him my opinion of the recent ones by the NRA, one of them being Mr. Harry Reid. I found out this morning that the NRA does not endorse anyone who is not an incumbent. The person has to have some kind of voting record. It explains a recent one that I got in the mail, even though that person had only been in the legislature for a few days.

Did anyone notice that NO ONE is listed on the flier who takes credit for it? I thought that was illegal!!!! What a piece of work. Both the flier and the person who sent it out!

I went too, and even though I was in Exhibit Hall B twice I missed seeing ANY candidates from Paulding. Did you meet any? I saw Bill Heath but haven't seen his opponent show up for anything although I know he has been invited to all events involving the 31st District. I try to beat Hubby to the phone because we have different views on the SPLOST and I don't want anyone having damage to their ears when he hears the word TAXES! We don't like the calls either.

You are right! You do know that the Mosque there has tried to add on to their existing structure and failed. I wonder if the (rebuilding) design will change the size of it under the current restrictions placed on structures in Marietta.

Actually they have a large Mosque is Marietta. One of their disgruntled followers tried to burn it down a couple of weeks ago. That was the second time that has happened. The major news networks tried to make it sound as though it was done by folks who were against the Muslim religion. It was done by one of their own followers. Both times.

I expect he will get far more traction out of the Obama Administration than those opposing it. He is all for community wishes/rights until they don't jive with his view.

I see this as a little different because they bring their own law with them, and their religion is the same as their government, no separation. Take a look at France and some other European nations where they have a large population. The more the religion spreads, and the more members, the less we or any nation would be able to have freedom of religion. They don't believe in it. Their own religion/government/law has the take over of all others as their goal.

If I do not like the candidate, seeing their signs just makes me feel sick. If I do like the candidate, I want to see more of them. Rather see them in people's yards though. I don't like the phone calls. I am always afraid they will get Hubby's bear growl if it happens to be a live person. That goes for candidates I support and those I don't support.

I think the way it works is that those with Criminal history are deported. I don't know what they do with the others but I am sure you could find volunteers to drive them to the Border! I have no clue how much input the BOC has in the policy of the Sheriff's office. I have to say that if the Sheriff opposes the program then that should be the final say in the matter. The trouble is that the Feds are not hot to do this job. The Democrats are in control and they are hot to get the Hispanic vote. It is becoming clearer every day that the States and Local governments are going to have to protect their citizens from the crime and cost to their economies that comes with illegals. You should really look at the cost that 480,000 illegals are to the State of Georgia. That does not even take into account the number of jobs that they take from legal American citizens.
