I don't think it was a Berka. It was a head scarf and did not cover the face. I think if she had been polite about the whole thing it would not have escalated to her being arrested. Had to know she would do this though. Maybe she will take on the TSA next time.

Apparently someone named Mike Jones came in with his gun and shot the guy twice. School board folks say he saved their lives. Not sure what position Mr. Jones had with the BOE, security maybe? He was in another office when the guy started shooting.

If she had known how to use a gun and had one she could have solved the board's problem with that crazy very quickly.

I don't think so. it is coming to Georgia in 2011. ICE has been dragging their feet about getting it in all states. Congressman Gingrey has been pushing for it and has asked why states who have little trouble with Illegal Immigrant numbers have gotten the program and Georgia with a high population has not. http://www.times-her...igrants-1438100 Georgia has an estimated 400,000 illegal immigrants, ranking it sixth among the states in illegal immigrant population.

And some folks will never admit that Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Maxine Waters just to name a few brought about the Fannie Mae/ Freddy Mac disaster that led to the collapse of the economy. If the Obama Administration has its way the economy will have sputters of life and then crash again. That is the cycle that happened in the Great Depression and this Administration is repeating the same mistakes or it tried to. I hope the new Congress can fix things. Obama is already having to compromise.

Maybe you need to look up the numbers on armed bank robberies, store robberies, home robberies, and robberies targeting individuals in the Dallas/Hiram areas in the past year. Guess that crook did not know that he should never bring a knife to a gun fight. Course he did not expect his victim to have a gun! just another reason the new gun laws are a good change for Georgia.

You are the best! You are like "George Bailey" in "It's A Wonderful Life". He was rich in all of the important ways. He did so much for his family, friends, and community. He never thought of himself as being a mover and shaker, but he was. You deserve the best and I hope this year brings you good things. I will pray for all our sakes that this economy will improve and that it is on the road to recovery.

Food is going to go up in price unless there is a change in the economy. I expect anything to do with that industry will be picking up.

I read it as saying the money can't be spent on anything other than those areas which are stated. It does not say that the money HAS to be spent on any particular program. Not sure Pre-K qualifies as basic education since it is voluntary. It is a good question though and because of the shortage of money in the Hope I expect it will be answered by lawyers who understand this better than I do. Thanks again for the info.
