Not sure I understand what you are saying. If I understand you correctly you have stated the same thing I have been saying. I was saying that eym_sirius is misinformed. Are you saying that I am or that he/she is? Doctors don't want to lose money any more than anyone else. I disagreed with eym_sirius about how much a doctor makes after paying malpractice and overhead, especially a new doctor. Obama Care is going to hurt the very ones he claims it will help. Rays has a right to Medicare if he is getting it. He paid for it while he was working. Now Medicaid is another story because folks who get that have not paid into it. Why shouldn't he take advantage of it. Get your facts straight before making a statement like the one above.

Hubby has a 2 doctors he has to see regularly. One is discontinuing services to all Medicaid and Medicare patients. The other is probably going to retire because he simply does not want to deal with the government and where it is taking Health Care (Obama Care). How did this become a discussion about his health care? Are you trying to redirect the topic? Sounds to me like he paid for his care so it is a non issue.

It is not BS on the fraud. I know that for a fact. It does not matter if it is computerized or not it has to be accurate! The Doctors negotiate with the government and they end up agreeing to take less for their services. They lose money on patients who require more time (in most cases) to treat. You really should find out the facts before you try to debate this issue.

In my opinion the military should not even be a part of this particular discussion. They and their families should get medical care paid for by the government no matter what. They deserve it. If it costs more so be it.

Because the government is in charge of it. The paper work requires time and someone has to be paid to do it. If the doctor makes an error he could get charged with fraud. The payments from the government are almost always late. There are other reasons too but this is a couple for you.

I agree with you and I think before we make judgements about this we need all of the facts. I trust Sheriff Gulledge to know those facts and to act on them in the legal and proper manner. If someone has a question or a complaint I think they need to speak with him and get the honest straightforward answer he will give them.

I am not upset with the Judge. I don't know what he based his decision on. Just thinking of how he/she must feel. No matter how they decide a case like this it has to be hard for them. Attorneys who represent folks who do something like this may also second guess themselves. Ditto for child advocates. Just thinking how they must feel that's all. Sometimes the system does fail these kids. I guess someone will be looking at that.

I did not know that. The system failed them apparently. The job of child advocate with the court system must be a very emotional and stressful job. It is also one that is very much needed it seems.

I heard that the boys were with the father for the holiday due to a court order. I wonder how the judge feels about that decision today? Sad.

I have thought about this over night and I have decided that I am OK with folks changing my posts as long as they only correct my spelling errors and they don't make a big deal about it. That is why they need to be trained in the proper way. The Israelis stress that in the way they do their screening.
