Pink Slime opponents put halt to 1 million pounds a day
Riptides replied to Riptides's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That was exactly my thought. Suspend production, prices go up, everyone forgets about "slimey", production resumes, prices go down, everyone is happy. -
George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin, murder or self defense?
Riptides replied to ihaveadog's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Which part? Witness statements are where? Most reports have been that there were no witnesses, until this story, that adds that part, then when relating the facts chooses to add Zimmerman's statements as fact. I think the story is just to push the empty baggie, and try to spin that into a violent youth makes. -

Those aren't facts. That's Zimmermans statements to police. -
This just hit the AP: That's almost a million pounds a day production of "Pink Slime" that's been halted for the time being.

I believe that rule was put into place for the satellite carriers back in the 90's when they were charging customers extra just to receive local broadcasts and also some of the cable providers were pushing those channels into the premium tiers when they served fringe areas. I know that Comcast's Basic, no box, value service lost all value, for me, when they moved TWC out of the basic channels up into the premium tier. The thing is that while adding to the subscriber base these Basic users don't make Comcast any money, nor does the upkeep of the analog system as technology progresses and it

After driving that way every afternoon for past several weeks, everyone going through there please be careful for the next few, if you're heading East they sometimes have one of the lanes closed and you can't see a damn thing until you pop over the hill with everyone going 60+ MPH and they got less than 500 ft to see the sign, slow down, and merge over.

The disabling of OTA analog transmissions and going digital was a national thing. But this is Comcast removing their analog service and going digital over their cable network necessitating you needing new TV's with digital tuners or new digital boxes along with them adding a rate increase for the digital service vs. their old analog service.

Find you a scraggly unshaved man, put him in a pair of boxers and a dirty open front robe, give him a case of beer to drink and park him in a lawn chair in your front yard for the duration. And people think only dogs can be deterrents. -
I definitely lean towards getting at least one roma tomato plant. I love those little boogers on my salads. Wanna make yourself crazy.. get a cherry tomato plant.. and spend the summer picking thousands of tiny maters.

I did some work in the Willowbrooke building before and after construction, think they're on their 4th year now. Willowbrooke is actually very nice, they have both an inpatient detox and outpatient programs. And if the person is a minor I believe they can get assistance from the state for hosting them there, so this doesn't have to be an insurance thing.

Tried & true pulled pork BBQ recipes, Got a good one?

Here are a pair of butts I did back in October. This is after around 6 hours, it then took another 3 to "render" them. Sorta cheated on these, I put rub on them, put them in a pan and covered them then brought them up to 300F in the oven for an hour while I got the grill going, so it was 8 hours actual on the smoker. Very delicious, but very time consuming, I made the 3rd leg enjoyable with just the right number of beers. No crockpot or grill? Use a very light rub and a roasting pan. Add 1/4 (cola/juice) and 1/4 water in bottom of pan, put butt on grate, cover with foil, cook at 325 u -
Well, statistically, most murders involve people who know each other, so I would lean towards the latter. I believe it's the activities one is involved in that constitutes the greater variable increasing the likelihood that some bad cheeze may go down.

Boston Butts I usually put on the smoker for the day. I think I've posted a rub on p.com before, it's the slaughterhouse rub, google it, works on about everything. Thaw meat in fridge long before big day, bring out hour before smoking time and let come to room temp and then apply rub. Put half filled drip pan under the shoulder(s), I usually do 50/50 applejuice and water in the pan. Indirect heat of about 325 for 8-10 hours until the shoulder is literally falling apart. I'll watch the temp and spray the shoulders with apple juice using a sprayer with a few tablespoons of soy sauce -
Yes indeed, welcome. Nah, the internet is life's complaint department, and Pcom just makes it a bit more localized.

I remember a discussion one time on another forum about vacuum cleaners. There seems there were 2 camps of belief on that forum. You either spend $3k on a vacuum and get a lifetime warranty and repairs. Or you go to Walmart and spend $60 on one and use it until it breaks 12-18 months later and buy another. Because in the end, over your lifetime you'll end up spending about the same amount.

I think it was initial estimates on cleaning up the school buildings, repainting the 2 vehicles, and the clean up of the sub-division entrance sign. Something about the sign being made of a stone that couldn't be cleaned with normal chemicals.

Traditionally doesn't this dance require being naked and the jiggling of bits? If so... Count me in.

So share. Being totally honest here, until I got older and could actually cook my own steak, I HATED steak, and pretty much any large cut of BEEF. But now that I can prepare my own, I'm more into eating it, and enjoy it. My suggestion of AFM was because, well, I do seafood, and never got a bad steak there, so But yeah I'm down with hearing about aged meat. +100

Oh and please don't anyone think I'm saying she needs to be committed or something. I'm just thinking that again, taking her out of the house and doing something with youths that puts her out of her element and so on might help calm her down and give her a bit more empathy at home.

The counselors you've spoken with before may have more information. You may want to try talking with someone at Willowbrooke @ Tanner down in Villa Rica. I know they have a youth behavioral outpatient program that is tied into other youth programs here in Georgia. They may also have other suggestions.
