  1. Used to love Arby's when they were the real deal Roast Beef place, unfortunately their "new" menus kept offering a worse value for the money.. Their "Marketplace" subs were tiny and expensive compared to other sandwich shops.. and their roast beef sammiches quality had gone downhill. I'm not gloating in the least, but corporate took their quality and destroyed it slowly until it became one of those "not really an option when I'm hungry" places.
  2. So driving their vehicle back to their office/shop and getting in their personal to go to lunch, just to go back to get their work vehicle will end up saving money how when you factor in the extra gas that will be used?
  3. If it's yellow jackets, make sure your homeowners is paid up, get your irreplaceables out of the house.. then a can of gas and a match should easily remedy the problem.
  4. Like broadcast TV, often times cell tower signals rely on line of sight to the tower that serves you. If there is topography that gets in the way then it can reduce the available signal to your phone, your phone will often compensate at times for this by temporarily boosting it's power to the internal cell radio, but they will not sustain this boost as it will quickly drain the battery. Also to consider, even if there is a tower close to you, it doesn't mean that tower is serving your area for your carrier, carriers will sometimes build out a tower and lease available space on it to anoth
  5. Nearly has the same thing happen with a brand new composite body S&W .380 semi automatic (early 90's model), on the 3rd clip of the entire housing started coming apart in giant chunks around the chamber and had I not been looking for problems like this it's likely it would have grenaded in my hand as I was firing. It was sent back to S&W for examination and replaced by a standard housing model for gratis.
  6. I heard all the remaining Aerosmith shows have been cancelled.
  7. All my secret girlfriends I stalk on here. Everyone of you are BEAUTIFUL and AWESOME!! Yeah.. if I'd said ALL their names it'd be drama city.. But they know who they are. *runs to shut off his PM's mailbox* See what I did there?
  8. Yes you are correct with an excellent example of why Bigger is not always Better. Air cycling through too fast to dehumidify is a common over-sizing issue. And for those curious having a secondary dehumidify function is very helpful in conditioning the air more efficiently in the home. The prime thing you want out of any A/C system is to reduce the moisture in the air to the 30% range.. and then that makes cooling the air cheaper in the long run and increases the useful life of the system. OH and if you haven't thought about it, checking your filters once a month in the summer is key
  9. I don't follow your logic as it's arrest, trial, conviction. And the previous actions of a defendant may be admissible in the trial portion in order to show possible intent based upon those actions. Just like everyone else, he applied for it. If you mean the assaulting an officer case? His charges were dropped, hence no felony, hence being able to carry.
  10. I saw it on TV a few times last year until they yanked it off. Yeah.. I said that.
  11. Here's a little factoid, ALL a/c systems are dehumidifiers, in fact, that's their main purpose, by removing the excess moisture from the air you get air that can be easily cooled and feels the most comfortable to our bodies, the actual cooling effect is a by-product of the first function. But because of why we use them, we tend to not think about the first function if at all, and associate them wholly with their secondary function. Also ALL freestanding home dehumidifiers are reverse flow A/C units. Warm wet air is drawn into the rear over the cold evaporation coils, the moisture beads up
  12. And I thought it was because I was a guy. Thank you internet for validating my initial thoughts.
  13. Many installers are limited to putting in what comes with the systems they sell, or using whatever supply house they use provides to them. I'm sure there are a few other "supply house" brands that are Made in the USA, but even then the internals may have come from some cheap overseas production factory. The part I linked above is a fairly high dollar replacement part.. normal cap costs 7-12$ .. the ones I listed start in the $20-40 range. All A/C systems NEED to be sized appropriately for the space they are cooling, too small and they run constantly burning up $$$ in electricity and never
  14. This topic was very misleading and not at all what I expected. Sorry to be so negative..
  15. Here's one: http://www.americanradionic.com/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/ I'll update if I can find the other I'm sure of. ETA: http://www.northamericahvac.com/servlet/the-Capacitors-cln-AmRad/Categories And you have to be careful, often many of these "made in the USA" products are all assembled in Mexico or Malaysia and then shipped in bulk to the states for labeling and repackaging. ROFL holy crap the two I find are the same brand through 2 different sites, one direct from manufacturer, and the other is a reseller.. Guess there is only ONE brand left that's a
  16. EVERY court case involving persons DOES judge the defendants on what they've done in the past. And honestly if you're going to apply the Law to Zimmerman then Martin who was possibly in fear for his life, which we will now never know, had every right to lay hands on Zimmerman then. You can't pick and choose who the law should apply only to.
  17. I concur with the capacitor issue. Any system installed in the past 12 years will be using a cheap ass Chinese cap, and they are known to fail early and often. I think there's only 2 brands that are actually still made in the states and the quality of them commands a price of being around 5x more expensive than the Chinese brands.
  18. This horse has been beaten to death on this forum and others regarding what did or didn't happen that night. What should be taken in context here is that for all intents and purposes.. Zimmerman is someone who has systematically sought out confrontational situations. He has assaulted an officer, engaged in long term racial hatred in the workplace and was prompted to leave said job from his actions, openly expressed his racial hatred to others in his neighborhood watch program which made them shy away from being a part of such, and he lied to the courts and sought to hide monies he ha
  19. And that makes it okay? This thread is so full of win.
  20. I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.
  21. Pics or it didn't happen!!!! Actually.. I don't think the poop deserved such treatment.
  22. Lots of ugly things been coming to light about him, whether they're true or not remains to be seen, but this is destroying any credibility he may have as an "upstanding and concerned citizen" that his defense is going to be relying heavily on to sway the jury not to convict him. They also have an ex co-worker of his of middle eastern/Indian descent that has already made spurious claims that he was systematically the target of Zimmermans racism in the work place, to the point he filed numerous complaints to the management. This wasn't a "media" steam roll unlike the molestation claims, but
  23. Same here, I like all kinds of yogurt.. or thought I did until I tried the Greek kind..
