This sounds crazy, but Hubby and I wanted a platform bed because we made an upholstered headboard that we wanted to use and I couldn't find anything that I was willing to pay for so after looking for 6 months I finally found a platform from Ikea that fits inside our regular queen frame and I LOVE IT!!!!! I think it was $150.00 and was sort of a pain to assemble...not hard...just lots of pieces. We have been married 25 years and this is one of the best purchases we have ever made. Good luck!

Agree 110%. I don't care where his friends are, if he is immature and YOU have even considered holding him back, I think you already know the answer to your question. It will be much worse to HAVE to hold him back in middle school instead of now in 5th grade. I would have no qualms in holding him back, he may 'hate' school because he feels he can't keep up and to send him on to not be able to keep up in 6th grade, etc. would be much worse. Another year in 5th grade will give him time to mature and catch up and his whole attitude could change for the better if actually 'gets' what he's doi

LOVED it! A giraffe poked her HUGE giraffe head completely inside our car, across Hubby who was driving, over to me because I had the food. I think her tongue was about 2 feet long. I actually dropped the video camera, and was squealing like she was killing me and the rest of my family was laughing their a$$es off. It was great!!!!!!

I have 3 children, 24, 22 and 7 and none of them ever did anything like this, they went to bed in their own beds when told and that was that. I do not envy you this stage. Good luck!

My advice too! We're going to Vegas on the 20th for our 25th anniversary and are dealing with the same questions! Ya'll have a great time and just like everyone is telling me.....everything will be fine! I need to take my own advice!!!

I just went to ebay and the auctions where there were several bids and the amounts were 99 million dollars, have been removed. I knew something was up because the vouchers that were listed for a few thousand dollars had NO bids. That was a scam of some sort. This seller should be kicked off ebay, what a jacka$$.

I think I know how to read numbers........is that 55 and 99 MILLION dollars? REALLY?!?!??!?! I guess people really do have more money than sense.

I applaud the fact that you are so passionate about these animals. You're knowledgeable about their care, how to handle them etc. So many people have no clue and then get in over their heads and then the animals pay for the neglect, etc. I'm still terrified of them though and that will probably never change.
