The only change I've made in the last few months is the fact that I now get ALL of my meat at West Metro. If I need something that I forgot to get on the weekend and they are closed on Mon and Tue, we eat something without meat, because I won't get it from anywhere else.

I love cold food! It's sick I know, but one of my all time favorite cold things is...................leftover Hamburger Helper Stroganoff (sp) right out of the fridge. Hubby just gags!!!

Both of my daughters, 22 and 24, have been chomping at the bit waiting for this to come out and the response I got from both was, 'UUUMMMMM....it was good'. Not at all the reaction I was expecting, nor the movie they were expecting. I think they were disappointed.

I don't think it's the same at all and I probably didn't word it correctly, but I think by the way it was described about them drinking clear liquid, holding hands and going to sleep that's just the feeling I got. I applaud this family for this decision and I think that their kids really stepped up to the plate to support their parents. I'm still a little conflicted about it though.

This is a great post!! I feel for your grandmother and your family. In death, it's human nature to become selfish and want that loved one to live forever and not lose them, I'm guilty of that myself....have been more than once. But if there IS NO hope, it's a shame there can't be a better way to deal with the end of a persons life instead of pain and suffering all for all involved.

I'm conflicted about this one also, I can clearly see both sides, but in the article it said that their kids were by their sides when they 'died'. That is creepy to me, it reminded me of the Jamestown suicides lo those many years ago.

I got 2 this morning! What I really love is when people go on the news and actually tell that they have been taken in by this BS...WHO FALLS FOR THIS?????? Is it greed or stupidity that makes people do these things?

I didn't need to read any article because I heard the same thing about the $4 million on the radio. I didn't realize that I had to listen to every single news report before I could respond to a poster and to a report that I heard with my own ears. What was I thinking?

This woman is a real piece of work!!! Another $4 million for kids she has already been paid millions for, kids she has said point blank, 'I'm not their mother, I had them for Michael'. She has never had anything to do with these kids and if MJ adopted them how could she fight for custody anyway? That would be like a surrogate swooping in after the death of a parent she had had kids for and demanding custody. They are not her kids anymore, I can't imagine how these kids are going to feel when they find out that all they have ever been for her is a leverage for money. What a PIG!!!!!

The Smithsonian as well as the Washington Zoo, is free. The Mall, etc is great...I love DC. Have fun and be safe!!
