  1. Thank you!!!!! We're dealing with this exact thing, 4 rehabs in 10 years and MIL still does not accept responsibility. Told Hubby last week that I was done. The turmoil and angst and upset she has wreaked on her family is WAAAY past acceptable and she still blames everybody else. UUUUURRRRRGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! :nea:
  2. Call Ridgeview in Smyrna and see if they can offer any advice. Went through a similar thing with MIL and she had the choice of voluntary or forcible. We were advised as to how to have her committed against her will, it's a HARD thing to handle, but if it's a possibility it may be your brothers only hope. GOOD LUCK!
  3. This entire defense is ridiculous. I don't believe that she was abused either, but lets say she was.......what does one have to do with the other? 'I was abused, so I didn't report my that my child drowned by accident in the pool'. It's past idiotic.
  4. Got home from the fundraiser about 20 minutes ago, we had good food and saw so many friendly faces........KRM, Rockysmom, SOLO, Luke and Josh from Tender Loving Pet Grooming  and several others.
  5. This man is a crazy old coot and his followers are even worse.
  6. Good post, I thought the exact same thing.
  7. This is awful, I am so sorry! How about a dr's office or maybe an immediate care facility. Explain the situation and I'm sure that they would be willing to help. Good luck.
  8. Tender Loving Pet Grooming is having a grand reopening on Saturday with vendors, games, food, bluegrass etc. Call Luke, I'm sure you'd be welcome. I'll try to find the topic for you. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/270136-tender-loving-pet-grooming/page__p__3446887__hl__%2Btender+%2Bloving__fromsearch__1#entry3446887
  9. DITTO!! We knew a family once that had a 6 year old........yes 6 and my girls came home from playing there one day, they were about 8 and 9 and told me that the 6 year old walked up to Mom in the kitchen while she was cooking dinner, tugged on her shirt, boob pops out and she proceeded to have a 'snack'. I almost died and questioned if they had really seen what they said they had. Well, they had. Apparently, in whatever country she was from, kids are allowed to breastfeed for as long as they choose to. They spent alot less time over at that house from then on. ACK!!! CREEEEEEEEEEEEE
  10. My Mom passed at 50 and until she about 44 or so, she was to the point of being vein about her appearance. Perfect hair, nails, outfit, accessories, etc. Besides the fact that she was so sick for so long before she died, that she no longer cared how she looked and was unable to make herself up, was heartbreaking. She always reminded me of Mary Tyler Moore in The Dick Van Dyke Show as well as the Mary Tyler Moore Show, she was beautiful.
  11. I agree completely, however, his mental well being be damned compared to the safety of my child or anyone elses. It's a sad and scary situation.
  12. This kind of betrayal goes so much further than him just tappin' the maid, but this woman lived in their home, their kids played together and from what I have gathered, she really was just like a trusted member of their family. And all along, piggy Arnold and piggy maid KNEW the truth, they duped his whole family for over a decade. They must be so proud of themselves. :angry2:
  13. I'm totally with you! Don't buy it for a second.
  14. YES, she still looks BAAAAAD for 50. WOW!
  15. That can't be a 30 year old woman, shes yankin' somebodies chain besides Arnies.
  16. SHE IS NOT 41??!?! Are you kidding me?!?!?! I thought she was at least 60. That is really some hard, bad livin'.
  17. OOOOOHHH MMMYYYYYY, I missed that pic. Wow, what a boon for her have his kid, now shes set for life. Creepy!
  18. It's funny that you think that, because Hubby feels the same way. He says that she is 'too severe' looking. I think shes pretty.
  19. I have always liked him, but that abruptly ended yesterday when I learned this sorry piece of news.
