We've had experience with both and I would not recommend Invisalign(sp) to anyone. A person can be the most diligent soul on the planet and the second they start to hurt and they will, the temptation to take them out overrides any diligence you may have. Granted, traditional braces will be painful as well, but you have no choice and they remain on your teeth to do the job they were put there to do.

I don't think that this topic is about your work ethic, I'm certain that many, many other posters also have a very high work ethic and still are not willing to give free time to their employer just so that they can do their job. Booting a computer on company time is part of the job, not the 30 minutes before work while still on your own time and not being paid.

You are exactly right. Why should a company expect any free time from an employee? Think of all the free work they are getting and the money they are saving if a company has 100 employees and they get 5 free minutes from every one of them. That is no different from a retail outlet overcharging every single customer a nickel on their purchase, imagine how fast that would add up. But it's only a nickel, wheres the problem? If work starts at 8am, either the company lets the employee have 15 minutes on the clock before start time to get the computer going and ready to take calls at 8am or

It rained here about an hour ago really hard for about 20 minutes. At least it was something.

I have asked this question before........why when someone famous gets caught with their pants down or on twitter, do they suddenly end up in 'rehab'? You did it, just own it like a man/woman and deal with it. When are these idiots going to learn? This is the major problem I have with my MIL. Rehab 4 times in 15 years, the last one in May and to this day she WILL NOT admit to ANY wrong doing and let me tell you......there has been plenty of wrong doing. I haven't talked to her since she got out on May 22. I'm over it and am done, at least for a while.

Ours is REPLACEMENT INS. We also had replacement ins when we were renters. It was worth every cent of that $9.00 a month when our house was struck by lightening and they replaced all the phones, 3 TVs, a microwave, 2 vcr's, etc.

You're correct I think, we have known Adam since high school and it was a miracle that he survived that horrible crash.

Hubby and daughter regularly have stones and this sounds like a kidney or bladder infection. Kidney stone pain is normally excruciating and unbearable. I hope you feel better.

This is terrible, but what parent in their right mind would take a toddler to a dr's appt knowing that they were going to be immobile for any length of time and that the child would be left to it's own devices? You can't as a patient, expect the office staff to care for your child while you are being treated. If that is the case, then you need to reschedule your appt for another time. It is also ridiculous that this woman was strapped down, toddler in tow and left alone for any amount of time. Was ANYBODY at this office thinking that day?

OMG!!!!! We saw this last night and LOVED it!! It has everything, the kids are great, the story is good, there are a few parts that made me jump, but it's not gory. M-A-N it is a great movie!!!!

The only time I've ever seen security at Walmart is on the day after Thanksgiving and thats only until the huge sales are off. I also agree that she could have been dangerous, it could have been a lot worse. I too an thankful for the gentleman and his wife.

I KNOW!!! What did she think that they were going to do, take stuff out of my buggy and give it to her?!?!?! When my 911 daughter started her training at PC 911, she had some odd hours and would often go to the Dallas Walmart when she would get off at 2, 3, or 4 in the morning. It made me crazy, didn't bother her in the least. :blink:

ME TOO!!!! As I was telling Hubby about this, still completely flabbergasted, he walked over to me with a grin on his face and handed me a business card and said, 'Hey, I know this place........', and it was a card to Pil Sung Do!! It was very funny!!! :lol:

Especially when you are distributing them among 6 people. I always buy stuff for my kids, grandkids and son in laws because if I see something I know they need and can use, I can't not get it for a dollar or two.

OOOOOHHH.......that would have really gotten her goat! My son in laws are tickled with their new stuff and at this point are looking forward to wearing it this winter because it's already been so hot.

I know. The first thing Hubby said to me when I told him was, 'Where's your pistol'? And I answered that it was safe and sound in the gun case at home away from all the crazies. I think he was trying to tell me something!!

Thats exactly what the cashier said! I really think she had to have 'issues', because would someone who didn't, act that way? Or would they?
