  1. I saw MANY as well. One prominent black couple in a front row in some part of the church and the lady had on a purple hat. Speaking of hats....how do you attach a hat to your forehead anyway?! Then there was one blue hat that I can't even describe and one that one of Fergies daughters wore looked exactly like antlers......not a good look. I thought she looked lovely in that canary yellow color.
  2. Me too! My daughter started texting me at 4:15 about the details! I LOVED that too!!! They seen very well grounded, Diana would be (and probably is) proud. That is the first thing I noticed as she was getting into the car. So classic and elegant.
  3. Here in New Hope where I live, we had almost no bad weather. The wind was a little gusty, a little lightening and a few rolls of thunder and then pretty hard rain on the back end of that, but we were prepared for the worse, hiding in the basement and nothing ever really happened. I'm thankful and I sent good wishes to all those who weren't so fortunate.
  4. I don't think there is an 'age' for a BB gun. We got 3rd grader one when he turned 8, however, he is NEVER allowed out with it by himself. He shoots it off the back porch, at ground targets, with an adult, at all times.
  5. What a cool thing for you to be able to be a part of!
  6. I was 17 when Charles and Diana got married and I got up at 3:30am to watch every single second of it. I hate to admit it, but I'll probably be up at 4:00am as not to miss anything.
  7. I'm confused? Do they not pay ad valorem taxes when they get their tags like we do here or is this on top of that? This seems like a punishment for doing what the state recommended in the first place.
  8. It's a 'watering can' at my house too.
  9. I still call him 'Dr.' Gingrey since he delivered both of my girls. I had a lady correct me one day and tell me I was wrong, apparently she didn't know his background, she learned quick enough though.
  10. Yea, they are like crazy mean, mean like you like hurting people just because you can. They had friends who had followed them in the cul-de-sac egging him on as the were punching my daughter in the face while holding onto her ponytail, while she was in a headlock. WHO ACTS THAT WAY?!?! People on tv, thats who. Not people in my life. WTH!? That is the one saving grace, all 6 of them slept through the entire thing and it was super loud because they had 13 911 calls and some of them were from the neighborhood across the street.
  11. I thank you for the advice and I really do understand the position of law enforcement, it's just scary and this situation is not something I know anything about. Thank you everyone for the advice and good wishes. We are having another sleepover tonite and hopefully we can more fully resolve this movie drama tomorrow. I'm exhausted and am going to bed.
  12. Why can't the police prevent a crime? A threat is issued and their hands are tied. My other SIL has gone out there and every time my phone rings, I get more and more sick. And you KNOW me, this is foreign to the way we live our lives.
  13. It's not the neighbors that is the problem, it is her father who showed up drunk with his drunk new wife and friends. The restraining order is there, so who knows? These things don't happen in my life and my daughter moved from a not great neighborhood to this much better one and it just proves that the place that you live doesn't always keep criminals out. I'm sick.
  14. It happened to my daughter on Saturday night while I was at Disney World. She and her Hubby were keeping the neighbors kids, super nice people and they often trade kids. Around 1:00am daughter old her hubby to go out and tell her neighbors that the kids were asleep and they could get them in the morning. In the meantime, she went to bed and was awakened by her husband yelling for her to call 911 because drunk grandfather and step GM wanted the kids, he said no, they went to the car, got a gun and were threatening SIL and my grandkids. Daughter went on the front porch and held the gate clos
  15. Lets say you're beat up, literally, on your own front porch trying to protect your neighbors children from their drunken grandfather and step grandmother, police are called, they are arrested, held for 3 days, assaulters friends constantly drive by your house waving guns out the window trying to intimidate you, you leave your home with your own children for safety concerns, the 2 criminals get out of jail and their son calls you and tells you that they are on the way to your house after you've gone back home, you call the SD and they tell you yes, they are out and they are pissed, but theres n
  16. Thats what I was thinking too, NEVER, EVER in a million years would I let my childs cup leave my table to let A COMPLETE STRANGER fill it with ANYTHING.
  17. Replacing cords is pretty easy, I do mine myself. More often than not you can find 'how to' instructions on the internet for just about anything and I've always had good luck with that.
  18. That is a HUGE victory in my book, congratulations!!!
  19. Does this have anything to do with the storms last week or is this just random?
  20. That drives me crazy too, my cell phone is glued to me at all times unless we are all together.
  21. Thank you for that!!!! :) If you pass through Hiram on 278 toward Rockmart and continue to Buchannan hwy, turn left, go about 9 miles to the intersection at 113 and it is at that intersection. You're going to need a WAAAAY bigger Mom cape for that!
  22. Including flats, sandles, heels and boots, probably easily over 100 pair.
  23. I'm glad to know that others feel the same way as I do. I keep thinking that they really will be grown ups one day even though they are 24 and 26. NAH!!!!!!!
