  1. I completely believe that 20 or more years ago, she would have been convicted hands down. Nowadays people insist on DNA and forensics and thats not a bad thing to a point. But after that point, you MUST use common sense, people have been convicted on way less and have in fact been guilty without any forensics or solid, without a doubt evidence. Jurors are supposed to be smart enough to realize that and act accordingly. There was NO forensics or PROOF of any kind that Scott Peterson killed Lacey Peterson and he was convicted at the speed of light. So what if he took his boat out....he s
  2. I love my children, I would walk through fire or in front of a train to save one of them, but if I thought for ONE SINGLE MOMENT that they had killed their child, MY grandchild, there is NO WAY IN HE!! that I would lie under oath to save them. There are consequences to actions and if those consequences have to be paid by my own child, then so be it. It would be horrific and unbearable, but how could you live with yourself knowing the truth and having her walk? Maybe it's just me, but I know I couldn't do it.
  3. While I'd like to knock her head clean off because I think she's as guilty as a day is long, she was probably as stunned as everyone else who was listening and watching. But honestly folks, there is some disconnect in her brain, besides the fact that she is a sociopath, that makes her incapable of any kind of feeling. She did it, no doubt in my mind, but for the sake of argument lets say she didn't. What person.......what MOTHER, wouldn't report her child missing for 31 days? And not only not report it, but party and hang with her boyfriend who didn't like kids?
  4. If you head out 92 toward Douglasville, right before the railroad tracks in downtown D'ville, there is a small strip shopping center on the right that has a parts store that sells used washers and dryers. They come with a warranty and are very reasonable or at least they were about 6 months ago. Good luck!
  5. I sure hope so, you never know what crazy whacko may give Caylee justice.
  6. I am now convinced that there is no justice for anyone. SO, I'm guessing she'll get time served and go out partying tonite!! OH MY GOD........I'M SICK!!!! There aren't enough horrible names for a woman that use in one sentence to describe this monster. I hope EVERY SINGLE jury member is HAUNTED to their dying days with the precious face of that smiling child, followed by the horrific picture of her skeletal remains. I hope they can't sleep or eat, I hope they never have another happy day. Idiots and fools....the lot of them. They should be ashamed!!!!!!
  7. :clapping: I love it when I'm reminded why you are one of my favorite posters!!!
  8. I'd keep my money, what I have, in a shoebox before I'd use BOA.
  9. I'll be honest......I'm a huge weenie and I could never do this. To have the moxie to even consider it, is admirable!
  10. I'm glad all is well, moms are crazy and often think the worst.
  11. I totally agree with you, one has nothing to do with the other. I hope that everything works out for everyone. That she and her son go and have an experience that others can only wish for. I hope dad gets to see his son as often as he can and that they all take away great memories because of this opportunity. So there!
  12. I would go find them and act bad. First, because he didn't let you know right away that there was no wreck and secondly, because no one will call you back and let you know what is happening. That is unacceptable, I know that I have been no help to you and for that I apologize, but come on, you're his mother. I hope everything is OK, but I wouldn't want to be them when they get home. Let us know whats up.
  13. The white, mohawk, wave thingy on her head? Yep, saw it and I just chalked it up to another 'Monica' do.
  14. This would be a great opportunity for both of you, I hope his Dad agrees.
  15. Me too!!! Well, most of the time anyway!!!!
  16. The one on 61 looks like you can't turn in from any direction. There are DO NOT ENTER signs facing both directions on 61, so how exactly are you supposed to get into the parking lot? Don't get me wrong, I turn in anyway and I'm sure there is logic somewhere, but I have never seem a store with DO NOT ENTER signs across the entire entrance. Totally agree and they take coupons. The DG in East Paulding is 2 minutes from my house as opposed to 15 for Walmart and it's SOOOOOO much easier to get in and out!
  17. And just as many are not as well, including my daughter.
  18. Thats where it has been every time we have gone, I haven't seen any road blocked, but maybe I just missed it.
  19. I've been transplanted for almost 17 years and we are in agreement on this one. YUP!
  20. I'm right there with ya. I didn't see that anyone had a problem with the dress in the other thread. I think it's cute HOLLYWOODBARBIE and if no one wants to wear anything that looks like a flag, well..............then they don't have to. You did a good job!
  21. That was my question too. There is a Kroger at 92 and Dallas Acworth hwy and a Publix in New Hope.
  22. Try Cornerstone Sew and Vac in Douglasville.
