  1. Of course I love going to your parents E-V-E-R-Y S-I-N-G-L-E holiday...............
  2. Good Lord, I almost got lost driving down the driveway when you gave me a ham several years ago, I can't imagine anyone being ballsy enough to solicit that far off the road!
  3. Isn't your house far, far off the road?
  4. Oh no, we posted this one at the same time..........great minds ya think???!!!
  5. It's not you, it's me. The dog ate my homework! Of course I don't mind..................................
  6. If they say they don't, I call BS of the hugest variety. After 9PM, not only is it dangerous for them to knock on a strange door, but it's more dangerous to answer to a complete stranger. I don't blame you for reading him the riot act, maybe he'll learn to stop cold calling after dark.
  7. Wow, I never thought Red Skelton would bring a tear to my eye. Thank you for posting this.
  8. That seems crazy somehow, a child without a seat belt, INSIDE A VEHICLE, is safer than one trying to hold onto dads shirt as they shoot down 278 and it's a law that they wear a seat belt. Weird.
  9. It's so interesting that you wrote this. My first instinct was to go the high school and get my girls, Hubby calls it 'circling the wagons'. I remember my mom told me that she was shopping in Canton on the day Kennedy was killed. I was 3 months old and many miles away with my grandmother. Mama said that all she could think about was getting home to me and my sister, she said she was panicked and so was my aunt. I think maybe it's uncertainty that enhances the 'circle the wagon' feeling.
  10. Having a loved one die is bad enough, but to die in this manner is beyond comprehension. Bless their hearts. :(
  11. While the day was so very scary and horrible, I had a 5 day old baby and all I could think was, 'Good Lord, what kind of world have I brought him into'? You're often not in your right mind so soon after birth anyway and then to see the destruction and death at every turn was almost unbearable. So many rumors were flying around and we had no clue what everyone was talking about when we arrived at the dr's office for 5th graders very first visit. We honestly thought everyone was talking about a movie because we hadn't been listening to the radio and had no idea what was happening. Hubby finally
  12. All the news coverage seems so excessive to me. Especially when a young man that my son-in-law worked with was shot and killed this weekend by three thugs who wanted the $300+ dollars he'd just been paid in his first paycheck. I didn't see that on the news. I guess a young black man killed by three other young black men in Atlanta, just isn't news anymore. SAD!
  13. If they didn't know right from wrong, they wouldn't have done this in the dead of night, on the weekend and run like He!! when the sheriff dept showed up. Didn't know better my behind. I will agree with the fact that they brains aren't fully developed though.
  14. Punishment?! But they are good kids with scholarships and meant no harm. Where is your compassion?! SARCASM!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. L-O-V-E Zenni!!!! I have reading glasses for every room, the car and my purse including 1 pr of sunglasses. I got 8 pr in all for $65.00 including shipping. Same quality as the ones at Vision Works I looked at and they were over $100 a pair.
  16. I have a question about these motorcycles, is there an age limit for a passenger? I have seen the same bike twice with a LITTLE kid on the back. He looks no older than 4 and he's so small that he has to hold onto the sides of the drivers shirt because his arm's won't reach around any further. This doesn't seem safe to me at all.
  17. Maybe they were trying to advertise for Craigslist and the 's' and the 'list' just fell off!!!! HAHAHA!! Naaaaaw, I'm going with redneck too! What a dumba$$!!!
  18. So the slap on the wrist punishment didn't work as a deterrent? Who knew?!?!? What are these stupid kids thinking...........again?
  19. My oldest daughter graduated in 2004 and hopefully things have changed. But, she was being bullied by 1 boy who was constantly making trouble and I finally got involved when he told her that if she came into the classroom the next day, he was going to 'biotch slap' her. I called the asst. principal and was told that they were just words and they meant no harm. The conversation became more and more heated and when I made the point the this 'asst principal' KNEW the boy causing problems and had never even heard of my child, he really got upset and told me that if I had a problem, that I needed
  20. She used YOUR address as her own...........are YOU KIDDING ME? WHO ARE THESE FOOLS? I feel SOOOOOO bad for Will because you can't pick your family, but no matter what, you're always affiliated with them. It takes a lot to break the cycle of destruction and bad actions when growing up that's all you know, I know, I've been there, but your family is still there as stupid as ever. These crazysons scare me, so I can't imagine what you're feeling. Unfortunately, my mind tends to run toward the dark side in these situations and with loons like this you can never be too careful or sure of their
