HORRIBLE Accident on 120 @ The Avenues of Cobb w/fatality :(
pcshopper replied to mom2dachs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I'm glad everyone was "ok". Prayers to the witnesses/rescuers. There is nothing scarier than having to go to a car, not knowing what you will find. Two weeks ago, while taking my son to school, we were almost hit. We watched the car cross the middle line, turn around, take down a street sign and roll down the hill on east paulding drive. I was very scared about going down that hill to that car, now laying on its hood. Thank God There was another lady who helped me down. Thank God, the girl was ok, but, I was terrified of what I would find -
I was wondering the exact same thing....strap on, maybe Seriously, having sex would be the LAST thing on my mind if my husband had just passed away....jus sayin'

Didn't her husband have Multiple Myloma? when her and I spoke, that's what they thought it was....however, there is no remission for it....

The accident happened, probably, about 4-5 years ago now. A young man and his 2 nephews were in the car, and somehow (I think accidently pulled out infront of) got hit by a truck. The Uncle and 1 nephew died at the scene. The other nephew had severe brain swelling and was hospitalized for several months. He eventually, was able to go home and live with his family and go to school, but, he also passed away a year or two later. The mom/grandma is on here, rarely now, as her husband is very sick. Her name is Bouqet. There are also a few pcommers who were at the scene of the accident, helpi

Friday PM was : The Incredible Hulk and The Dukes of Hazzard ~ both on the black and white TV, with popcorn made in the electric air popper Saturday AM was: Smurfs and Kids Incorporated Sunday was: The Muppet Show and Hee Haw I remember having a "tuner" on the top of the TV....we turned it and it made a funny noise, as it adjusted the antenna on the roof. Movie Theaters, on Mondays were $1.75 and it was .75 for a popcorn, however, we could only go 1 every few months. Of course "back then" we didn't have video games, it was hours of StrawBerry shortcake, Pretty Ponies and Ca

Most reasonably priced insurances aren't really going to be an insurance, but, more of a discount plan. You then basically get 2 cleanings a and 1 set of X-rays for a " copay" and dental work done, at your dentist, for a fee schedule rate. specialist office are usually a discount. it just depends what type of work you need done as to rather they are worth it or not.

These can also be symptoms of a panic attack. Is she on an anti- anxiety medication of any kind?

I have a (several) "Raise Your Rate" CD, if interest rates go up, you can "Raise the Rate" on the CD. To me,it was a win-win situation....more money than a savings account, and you can change the rate if we EVER see an increase. Also, the bank that I use, gives you .25% added to the current rate at renewal (so, I started all mine as 11 Mth, No Penaly CD's...then when they renewed, I got the "going rate" plus .25%). I haven't found a bank w/ better rates than mine offers either. Check them out ~ Ally Bank (it is online) Edit: Cause I miss read ur question...

it's $39.06, to be exact, for a load (1 bobcat scoop) of the "planters mix" (coveres 100 yard) I'm sure the do deliver. Not sure if they deliver for a small load like that, but, I'm sure there will be a large price increase (due to gas and dump truck)... Probably cheaper to pay someone with a truck $20 to go get it for you.

We just went here today for potting soil...it was $40 for a load.

So, what would the cost be for one that would fit a family of 6 (plus a few animals ). Could these be put in an outbuilding (with a concrete slab?)...or, would it be better to put them under the house/crawl space in dirt?
-
So, if the lids are "air tight", what happens if the batteries on the fan (s) run out? How many people fit in one? It doesn't look very big if you end up on an "extended stay" in there for a larger family (we have 6). Interesting concept...

We (I) do LOTS of couponing (southersavers.com) for items (ex. vegetable cans you can rack up on for .20/can)I buy in bulk (Sam's) for several items like beef. I then use one of those FoodSavers to package the meat. You do have to watch some of the items, regulary, though to make sure the pricing is good. I also buy ALOT of store brand items that don't normally go on sale. I have requested "budget billing" with the power bill....that way I pay the same amount every month vs. $90 in the winter and $400 in the summer. I also have done a montly budget and include EVERYTHING that i

Yes, unfortunly, it does. I would try to "catch" it and have them send it in for testing to find out what kind of stone it is. You can then limit his diet on that particle "food".

Hmmm, I didn't pay a filing fee with Turbo Tax, however, I only used the "basic" edition. I did however, get charged $27 to file the state. There was no way around that, unless I did everything long hand....
-
They are charging a fee to DD the money? Crap, I didn't see anything about a fee, or I would have had it mailed to me. How much is the fee?
