I did our shopping for myself. The policy you get/look for will depend on your needs. Do you want it/need it, or is it more of a preventative "what if" type of thing? We have a HIGH Ded ($3000); High Out of Pocket Policy on my husband (age 40). This includes 5 Drs visits a year w/ copay. He NEVER goes to the Dr., so, we only needed a "cheap" what if plan. It runs us $125 month. Thank GOD he got a job where he will now be getting group benefits with a MUCH less deductible...especially for MY piece of mind. Individual plans bite....

pcshopper replied to mumjp's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Straight Talk is AWESOME - $35 month for 1000 munites, 1000 texts or $45 for unlimited everything. I WISH I could use them, but, Im spoiled w/ my iphone, so, I currently use it (iphone) w/a gophone pre-paid plan -
My twins were due July 5th and they took them on June 17th (I think I was 36 1/2 weeks). I had them on a Thursday, we were ALL home by Saturday pm. Lungs were fine, although, I know it is scary. Also, they can check to see if the lungs are developed and give drugs to help them "develop" more rapidly if they know the baby will be delivered early. Prayers for a fast, easy, healthy delivery/baby

They are using them to lift the A/C units ontop of the new middle school. We've been watching them.

So, I've spent days trying to figure all this out and at this point I am . Here's the basics: I have an iphone, DS has a itouch, DD just got a ipod and we have another iphone (only used as a touch). So 4 total. EVERYONE listens to different music/plays different games. I'm having ALOT of issues I just can't figure out. Here's a few "basics" of what's going on: 1) We got rid of 2 computers ~ however, when I just hooked up the new replacement computer, and did the homesharing, it said we are only allowed 5 computers...well, only 1 of our computers is now running, so, I don't

There are MANY different kinds of dental insurances. The best are offered through employeers. With that said, MOST of them have annual maxes of $1000 - 1500. Preventative covered @ 100%, Basic @ 80% and Major @ 50% (of course this can vary, but, this is the standard). There is also "discount" plans (Humana CompBenefts, etc). The discount plans are more of a "break even" plan. You would pay (example) $200/year for the policy. Then you go to the dentist for your cleaning (regular) and x-rays (for a small copay). If you needed feelings, you would pay based on the fee schedule (they prov

My experience with Hiram Kmart in the past few months has been FAR from desirable. I could careless if they close, and in fact, only go there on a VERY rare occassion because, well, I think they suck! Now, let me say that this is NOT every Kmart, but, it is the Hiram Kmart

I would call the 404- Comcast ~ we just switched to comcast and the service has been GREAT! It may just be a simple fix ifyou can get the right person on the line. I LOVE the Costant Guard feature ETA: Now that I think about it, my IE "locks up" alot and goes into the "not responding" screen. I then have to shut IE down and restart the IE...that is a pain, but, it's still WAY better than what I had with BS

thaks for sharing, OP...I will add you to my "list". My girls LOVE going and seeing the lights. We go to the Felix family lights every year, the past 2 years we've gone to the Atkinson family lights in Riverwood (listed above)...now we will come to you too. There is also 2 families in Seven Hills who are fully decked out (live next to each other w/ "empty lot" in between and all is decorated together...they do not have music, but, it's beautiful to look at!

Hmmm,,, is it 13 AND 8th Grade? My daughter will be 13 in September, but only in 7th grade....so, she'd be 15 before she could joint this group if both criteria need to be met. Is there a site I can read up on this more, or is it literally part of the Boy Scouts? My son was in the boy scouts, but has since left it.

LGM ~ u wanna start a troop? I might can help you, although, it would probably have to be on a Friday....I was an assitant troup leader, so, still have my "contact". I NEVER recieved a email from the person over Abney area from back in August. I am NOT a leader, however, can stand on the sidelines and do paperwork/collect dues etc. I think I even still have my GS box of goodies . I worked with an AWESOME leader and hoped that we would get our older girls back in, but it never happened To be honest, I wonder if I even want my girls involved in something that is SUPPOSED to be for t

I did almost everything online, free shipping and through ebates, using my "cash back" check from last year to help pay. I paid via a credit card that you get a percentage back, based on what you spend. Some items we used our debit card because our bank offers "perks" at certain stores (ex. Target $5 credit into your checking account if you have a $25 purchase at target) Everything will be paid off when the bill arrives in Jan (or came out of the checking via debit already) We spent approx the same as we did last year (about $300 each for the little 2 and $350 each for the olde

When you were a child, what was one of your
pcshopper replied to tranquility's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My favorite memory of Christmas???? Really, only one? Grandma's cookie making...she'd spend WEEKS making different cookies and then freeze them...chocolate chip, orange balls, date balls, sugar cookies....(I'm drooling now). Well, I think it's a bunch rolled into one ~ When I think of my childhood Christmas, it isn't really gifts I think of (although I do remember a few special ones I got), I think of: Christmas eve starting with going to church for the "Children's Service", having to stand cause it was so busy and the fact that Dad would go with us. On the way home, we would -
Can I ask what you mean by "added a second line"? You can add a second line to the straight talk, what is it for an additional line? I thought it was just you paid $30 x2 or $45x2....
-

Has anyone tried the "New" Majic Jack?
pcshopper replied to its mr sarcastic to you's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I didn't try the magic jack plus, but, I did try the net talk duo and it was great! Our only issue was that I was unable to use it clearly in the evenings when my husband/kid was playing the xbox live. I didn't have enough "speed". I even raised my internet to the fast ATT had, but, it still wasn't enough for everything. I am however, fixin to DROP ATT and may try it again with comcast. -
a) how do I unlock my iphone how do I know if the phone is a GSM? I have a straight talk phone already, it's the SCHR451C
