Awww.....thank you everyone. It went well. Counting down, only 34 more to go. I did find out that the new Paulding Hospital, when it opens, will have the equipment to do radiation. This is great news for our county as residents now must drive to either Kennestone, Tanner/Carrolton, or Cobb Hospital. That's alot of driving when you have to go 30 or more times in a row.

PauldingMom replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I need my eyes checked. I thought the topic read: Put on your GUTTER gloves and surgical mask and hand on to your MONEY It made complete sense to me too which is really sad. -
I got one, I got one......... In the greatest movie ever made, Citizen Kane, what or who was the notorious "Rosebud"?

I've never had the pleasure of actually owning a horse of my own, but for years I took group lessons, and then private lessons. I cleaned stalls, painted fences and worked off the fees to pay for my lessons. Later I was hired as a groom and exercise girl, a job I would have done for free just for the experience of working with some great horses. The one lesson I have taken with my experience is patience and persistence. . My work now with small children requires much patience and persistence. Recently I was diagnosised with Breast Cancer, as was my mother. Although you may not consider pat

Heard this one from and older gentleman about the Bakers Bridge ghost. Seems there was a lady who had a son. She loved him dearly and kinda spoiled him. Anyway he grew up to be no good and took to running moonshine. She was always getting him outta jail and all kinds of trouble. Till one day he got caught in TN. For some reason that I don't under stand they hung him. Guess it was more that just running liquor. When they hung him his poor head came clear off his body. As the story goes, the lady went to TN. got the body and head and brought it back to her home by Bakers Bridge (the old one, n

How did the first night of the Haunted Junkyard Hayride go?

How much and any discounts out there? I've heard $15.00 a person. -
These road side crosses can be sad, but they also serve to very good purposes. #1 the remind of of the person who died at the location and #2 the remind us that drive carefully, it could happen to anyone at anytime and anyplace.

We were told that it was not legal to redirect your lawns natural run off onto another persons property. Our neighbor tried to do this by running a pipe pointed into our yard when they already had a natural dry creek in the back of there property where the water would run naturally. All we had to do was point it out to them and they corrected it.

Waste Management called us, current customer, last night with a recorded message about debris pick up. I do not recall the exact details but I think they said they would pick up 6 extra bags besides your regular container. Also for a small fee they would pick up more. Call for more details. Thank you W.M.

Call your insurance company and have them inspect your roof FIRST. Then you can look for a company. I can give you a reference of a company that did a great job on our roof if you would like.

DID Y'ALL HEAR ABOUT THE FLAP ON "THE VIEW"
PauldingMom replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
JMHO but who do you think would be more fun to cuddle up to, Barbra and her bony bottom, or Paula with her womanly curves. -
If I were you I would be concerned too. If people are actually living there I am pretty sure that is not legal. Ask the Sheriff's office to look into it. But I would first try and see if people are actually living in them. My guess is the kids set them up, Mom said, "I'm not taking them down" and now there they sit.

Besides being an outstanding player and person I think the announcers just enjoy saying his name because it's a fun name to say Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow, Time Tebow. They should make a children's song with his name. Tim Tebow went out to play, Tim Tebow could play all day, but he got hit, announcers had a fit now all Florida fans can do is Pray.

It's pouring here in S. Paulding and has been for about a hour. All this water is going to have to go somewhere.

I've not been successful with SOS or rubbing a fabric softner on the skin and sticking in a pocket. Only OFF seems to work on the skeeters at our house.

REALLY??? Most teachers I know have gripes about not having a chance to get caught up on grades and classroom duties. Be thankful you have a job. We tend to put teachers on a pedestal and actually think they like teaching, which involves a whole lot more than just being with the kids during the day. Maybe it's your prego hormones but geez Louise! to come on here and whine about not having a hot lunch served to you for one lousy day. Suggestion.....bring something from home. Even with no H20 (that's water) you can make a delicious lunch and grab a soda, or better yet milk. I think you will surv
