There really isnt much else to do in the towns besides the casinos in both of those places. The French Lick hotel is nicer than anything in Metropolis so it might have more services than the Harrah's does.

especially because both are completely useless

I'm busy trying to figure out what great victories for Islam were won in Atlanta as I count 6 mosques in the city alone. So what is the proposed mosque-free zone around Ground Zero? 1000 feet? 2000 feet?

not to nitpick, but they have gotten farther before and they beat Mexico 2-0 to do it. God was that a fun game to watch I kept thinking they had a chance to tie it up, and they did until the last 45 seconds. Penalty kicks would have been an even more miserable way to go out than an the incredible effort on the winning goal by Gyan.

I stopped by J-Rod's today for lunch before the US soccer game. I had the grilled marinated chicken breast with green beans, mac and cheese, and a Coke. It was all excellent food; the chicken breast was flavorful, grilled well, but still maintained a nice juicy inside. The green beans were flavored properly with what was I believe bacon, and the mac and cheese was still steaming hot ten minutes after arriving at my table. It was a dollar off any dessert today so, since I had Key Lime pie yesterday at the Cajun place in downtown Dallas, I tried the Reese's Chocolate Cake, and I didn't regre

what kind of NAVAIDS are at the airport? ILS? PAPI? VASI? that is the nicest terminal I've seen at an airport this small in the Southeast and I've been to a lot of small airports. Hopefully the FBO someone mentioned that they are building will be just as nice.

-as stated earlier, Victoryland has reopened. -Wind Creek is ok but the slots are pretty tight; tighter than the Philadelphia casinos previously mentioned. -Wetumpka has a casino but I've not played it. -Country Crossings is just sitting south of Dothan on 231 looking very barren. It was nice seeing it opened and pretty busy looking(well, for the month it was open). -The Golden Moon isnt open during the week now(at least it wasnt in February). The tribe shut it down due to declining attendance. Silver Star is the nicer casino to me anyways. -All things considered, I'd just drive to Bi

Restaurant Review - New Cajun place in downtown Dallas
Astone14 replied to SoldbyShawna's topic in RECENT TOPICS
No, different owners. I wish that place/owners would re-open a place around here as I miss their food/service a lot. Forgot to add that my shrimp po boy, chips and coke cost 10.70 after tax. -

Restaurant Review - New Cajun place in downtown Dallas

The owner explained to another customer that they do catering on Saturday(shrimp and crawfish boils); which is why the restaurant isnt open on that day. They are open til 8 today and Thursday. Had a shrimp po boy and it was pretty darn good, and they had Zapp's chips to go with the meal. -
oh man, the scouts bbq is tomorrow? i can vouch for last year's as being darn good and a good value.

Cons -Verizon had a hand out at one time that told you how to setup Yahoo email on your phone. I have it setup but i dont get notifications of new email, you just have to check it. -Sharing stuff from your computer to your phone is tougher than it needs to be and involves a USB cord, un"mounting" your 8GB card and then transferring files using a MotoConnect program. -The Market isnt quite as big as the App store but is growing. I have games, chat programs, dining sites, and a car maintenance program downloaded onto mine as well as music that i use for ringtones. -The dreaded battery c

278 from Cleburne Parkway to I-20 was fine, as was I-20 east of Chapel Hill Road to Thornton Road.

I-20 in carroll is a mess both ways as is carrollton, I don't recommend travelling on it

i like parking in downtown Decatur and walking to the downtown Decatur station and then trying to find room to have a pint at Brick Store when i return. However, with 2 kids, this probably wont appeal to you. Only fight i've come close to witnessing on a MARTA train was 2 drunk hockey fans.

that is an older list, so those shows have been cancelled and replaced by each host's respective new show. i forget what they call Conan and Jay's new shows.
