Maybe you should start a thread about underage drinking and ask that?
-
One person, a page or so back, said that this law AND OTHERS related to alcohol were too restrictive. THIS thread is about Sunday alcohol sales. See the topic title up there? ^^ You want to argue that underage drinking is bad. No one is going to argue other wise. But THIS TOPIC has NOTHING to do with THAT topic. Good? Good.
-
It isn't the state's job to parent children.
-
And even if the state of GA doesn't let people buy alcohol on Sundays, this is still the case? Yeah? One has nothing to do with the other. Now, if you want to argue complete prohibition, you might have something MEANINGFUL to say abut this topic. However, arguing that underage teens drink illegally in a thread about LEGALLY buying alcohol on Sundays in the state of GA makes as much sense as arguing that alcohol should be completely illegal in a thread about baking cupcakes.
-
And this relates to Sunday alcohol sales HOW?
-
Indeed we do. And coincidentally, they have nothing to do with the day of the week the underage partake.
-
Why are all those people dancing on a stage in their underwear?
-
I have no desire to buy alcohol 24/7. Once a week is plenty for me. But I don't wish to have WHEN I can buy any LEGAL item dictated by the religious preferences of others. Which has absolutely nothing to do with this country's children. Diversion from the topic at hand isn't going to fool intelligent people.

Well, that definitely settles it. We shouldn't be "allowed" to buy alcohol on Sundays. -

Why does the state get to choose a day when it can't be bought or sold? -
Am I the only gal on Pcom that doesn't like Valentines day?

My husband hand-delivered a bouquet of beautiful flowers he had made up especially for me from all of my favorite flowers today. I am not complaining about any part of that. I get random flowers, too, but that was very sweet, very thoughtful, and very appreciated. -
Looks like the big red K store may be closing too...

I'm absolutely NOT joking. However, it might be relative to know that where I live, it's about the same distance to either store. That being the case, I'll choose the one on the E/W connector any day. -
Also, see HERE. THANK YOU.

I know it's been pointed out a number of times, but once more won't hurt, right? there their they're there = a PLACE: The children are over THERE in Alabama. their = belonging to THEM: Those are THEIR kids. they're = a contraction of THEY ARE: They're going to college. Those kids are THEIR kids. THEY'RE going to college over THERE in Alabama. And ridiculous. Not rediculous.

Thank you!

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you.

Kicked any puppies lately? It's an open board. I am not a mod. I just think...if you find something so distasteful, why keep tasting it? But please, for the love of pcom, PLEASE don;t ever post that HH animated pic again? It's truly dreadful.

A Bass Pro Shop is not likely to die from neglect in Paulding County. And that sports shop down the street? Have you ever been in there? Their prices are ridiculous! My husband were in that plaza this weekend, and my comment to him was, "I don't know how that place stays in business." Their prices are prohibitive. Bass Pro is like the supercenter of all things outdoor, and they have sales that actually offer bargains. I would be so delighted to have one here. I hope that rumor holds true. -
Indeed. Only CO is capable of stopping this ridiculous HOKE cr@p. PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!! If you already know before you open the thread that TP posted it and you won't like or agree with it, why even open it, and why comment? Why post such cr@p? That HH animated picture is disturbing and it makes my head hurt. STOP ALREADY. And stop opening these threads if you know beforehand that you will find the contents unpalatable or ridiculous. WE GET IT. Stop already. Please. It's hard to be hard on TP's posts when there are people who seem to hang on his every word just to post

Yeah. Exactly.

I think you're right. My best friend in HS...I spent many nights and weekends at her house. I never realized then, but her Mom was a "Hoarder." There was a path from the front door, through their living room, and back to my friend's bedroom. But...the kitchen was always clean, though they had three dogs gated off and living in there... Over time, even the kitchen became nasty. But understand, this was after HS and after many years of this hoarding behavior. Man, was that place a mess. I never knew how to take it all in when I spent time there with my friend. I was a kid--I just wa

Yeah, and we should all detest this place, not support them, and never go there because ONE PERSON screwed up on ONE OTHER PERSON'S name. I have never been there, but this story of woes would not prevent me from going there if I were so inclined. $hit happens. You can blame the establishment, or you can chalk it up to that one person who screwed it up. I'd tend to blame the person, and not the place. Sorry your experience was bad, but really...to trash the whole place?

Really?

I would be in HEAVEN if Bass Pro came this close to home! That said...if I absolutely HAD to have something from either of these stores, I would choose the Hiram K-Mart over the Hiram Wal Mart ANY DAY. The Hiram Wal Mart is a NASTY store, and I REFUSE to go there, even in great need. I'd drive to the one on the E-W connector before I'd shop at that Wal Mart. >>shudder<<
