I like words better than pictures in cases like this. Thankyouverymuch.

That's all completely true. But this year? They are putting through WAY too many marginal folks. It won't be pretty when they have to cut the field down. I just think they should use a little more discretion. It would hurt less I think if they told people up-front that they need more work, rather than to give them hope and cut off their legs in Hollywood. But I don't get paid to decide. I don't get paid to watch, either. I like the show, for the failures and the successes. It just seems a bit dishonest to me to not winnow the field better at the outset.

That's good enough for me. NOT GOOGLING. NOT.

You are correct. It wasn't BAD. It also wasn't GOOD. Chicken impression aside. She did a good chicken.

My husband says any off-brand Q-Tip is the debil. *meeithermeeithermeeither* Someone summarize. Please.

John Wayne was CHARMING. So SWEET! And doing this for his Mama who has breast cancer and asked him to...and he had such a nice voice! But the next AI? No. No, I don't think so. And that's what I mean about passing people through. They get through, but the judges are just delaying the hurt. I think it's unkind.

She did. And she got a ticket to Hollywood. Which illustrates my point. They have very large holes in their filters, and when they get down to chopping the ones who can't make it, there will be bodies all over the place. I'm a little disgusted. There are no "standards." If someone can carry atune to some degree and has a sympathetic story, they have been given golden tickets. It may be all warm and fuzzy to let people through at this initial stage, it will be ugly when they have to pick the ones who actually might make it through. It might be kinder if they shot them dow

DING DING!! We are the New China. You're welcome. -
Apology? I think I missed that? I never cease to be amazed at the tone deaf people who really believe they can sing. Don't you think that someone in their lives, ANYONE, might have told them, "Dude, you can't carry a tune with a forklift." ??

I have no advice on the date. I think what you have been given so far is good, though. What an amazing treasure! How precious is it that you have inherited the family Bible? It is simply beautiful.

J Lo is STUNNING. SO pretty!

Agreed! Me too! It seems that too many are getting passed through with sympathy votes. Hollywood week will be brutal.

ST's leering is just plain creepy.

The Jazzercise over here near me has CC. I thought about joining when they were having their sale last week, but...I don't like having to contract out for X numbers of months. Sure, I might use it for 6-12 months, but what if I don't? I just don't like that aspect of so many fitness places. I'm going to check out Workout Anytime in Hiram. They are affordable, and they offer month-to-month membership. There's a free trial membership coupon on their website: Click here. Here's their phone if you want to call about CC: 770-943-7101 If you decide to go, let me know! I need

People who conversationally use words like "bouchey."

This is what I was trying to say. I think you said it well. I do believe I have found the one who was "meant" to be with me. I am so relieved! My husband is the one I will be with for the rest of my life. Illness and hardship won't break this bond. We know each other so well, we don't have to speak. And when we do, we use the same words. It's creepy and wonderful all at the same time. I have my "other half." And it's always a WOW thing. For both of us...we still just shake our heads when we recognize that only one of us has to speak, because the other is always thinking the EXACT s

I've had my heart broken, and I've felt so hurt and hopeless. It sucks. As others have said, time is your friend in this. Even though it's hard to see when you are so hurt, he did you a favor if he wasn't going to be there, and really love you. But I know it's hard, and it hurts. After being hurt so badly, I found the one who was meant for me. This song is personal...it's so true. Once you get past the hurt, you will be changed, and wiser, and more ready to give and receive. Feel better sweetie. These things take time. Watch this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkWGwY5nq7A

The Egyptian People Volunteer To Clean The Streets

Who trashed the streets? Sounds a lot like what your Mama taught you--you made the mess, you clean it up. -
In my experience (I have two boys), when they clam up when they normally would talk with you, then maybe worry is warranted. Is there someone he would feel comfortable talking with? I completely understand your worry. It sounds like, to me, he needs to talk things through with someone, maybe you, or maybe someone who isn't so close to the situation. He might be feeling a bit scared about it all. Fifteen is a hard age for boys anyway. I'm no expert, by any means, but any kid in a hard situation like this needs to know that it's not the end, but a different immediate situation.

I'm so sorry, sugail. I don't have much to offer, but if it were me and my son, I'd want to make sure he knew what was happening, so that nothing would sneak up on him. It's hard for grown-ups. It must be even harder for teens. How old is he?
