  1. I spoke with Denise a while ago. Her heart is broken, but her faith is very, very strong. She has family there already, helping her and Phillip. I think for now their greatest need is prayer.
  2. Thanks for the call this morning LL. I'm thankful you called me before I read this on here. My heart is broken for Denise and Phillip.. R.I.P., sweet angel.
  3. Thugs are carrying guns everywhere, not just at McEachern. By definition, that's what thugs do. My kids graduated there in '03,'06, and '08, and it's inaccurate to characterize the whole school as filled with gun-toting thugs. I'm glad to hear the young man is doing OK. What a terrible thing.
  4. Lady Tass! Welcome back!! I missed ya! And YOU TOO, Dogs~n~Katz!!!!
  5. Great picture of a very handsome young man! Congrats to him and his family!
  6. I so hoped he would beat this nasty thing. R.I.P Brody. Thoughts and love to his family.
  7. I don't know anything about what you're referring to as far as any confusion, but I'm glad that this service will continue to be available to those who need it so much at this time. Thank you.
  8. Congrats! Hey, can you PM me with info on the machines you have for sale and prices? My MIL wants a new machine. I gave her my old machine, but she wore it out! Thanks!
  9. It's moving pretty fast, too. In the few minutes since I captured the screen shot above, the main wall of the storm has moved into Meridian already!
  10. I have a little story about Julie, even though a lot of people seemed not to like her. As long as you followed her rules, she was really very nice. I was talking to this woman yesterday, and I noticed the neat little handbag she was carrying. She told me that it was Julie's Grandmother's purse, and Julie had given it to her to carry. The woman's granddaughter had looked inside the bag and found several items, including an old nail file in a covering case, three business cards from an NYC dressmaker from 1938, and 4 unused 1 cent stamps from 1938. The woman took the items to Julie, knowing
  11. I love that t-shirt, too! I think I need one!
  12. Julie, the wardrobe lady, was a complete TRIP! But I loved her. Everyone on set knew EXACTLY who Julie was. No matter what anyone thought of her, they'd have to admit she's incredibly good at what she does. Everyone there looked so authentic, and she was in complete control, right down to the last detail, of the costumes of HUNDREDS of people. If even one little detail of ANYONE'S costume changed in ANY way, she K NEW it and called you on it. Absolutely incredible. And that's why she's won Academy Awards for her costuming work. I'm so sorry to hear about the scratch. Truthfull
  13. My error in the other thread then, I suppose, and my apologies. We were told something completely different. Good luck folks, if you decide to come out!
  14. Is the one you linked to the one you made? Those are neat. Luckily for you, you can show this off here and not be yelled at because you are a commerce member. I do something similar with diapers, making wreaths instead of cakes. They're a little different and a little less common. But when I posted a bragging picture here, it got slammed and eventually deleted because I was accused of selling without a commerce membership. I don't sell them though--I just make them for friends. If you'd like pictures and a how-to. PM me. Then maybe, if you're interested, you could make them to sell.

  16. I didn't mean to make fun of your Granny's hat. I just couldn't imagine having that hanging out in my closet! I also have NO intentions of going completely without makeup. I'm going for a very subdued makeup...which is pretty much what I always wear anyway. If you're short and in the background, I can't see why the length of your coat would matter. No one will see your legs.
