How frightening for the Mom! Hope she and baby will be OK. There's a family I've followed for a while now--some of you may have also--the Lawrenson Family of Naggs Head, NC. Nate, the Husband/Father, keeps a blog called Confessions of a CF Husband. His Wife, Tricia, has Cystic Fibrosis. While preparing to get a double lung transplant, they discovered Tricia was pregnant. Against medical advice, they chose to continue the pregnancy. In January of this year, their little girl Gwyneth was born, at 24 weeks 4 days gestation. Just two months later, Tricia received new lungs. G

Not what I meant at all. But a person who is at the threat stage needs help. A person beyond the threat stage may just do it. That's all I meant. -

Indeed. A "threat" is more often a cry for help. I agree--hopefully her threat will lead to help. -

That's EXACTLY why I don't like the durn thing. I'm afraid it will kill someone...maybe even ME!! That's why it's disassembled and tucked away!

I know! My ex gave it to our family for Christmas...I can't remember if it was last year or year before. He LOVES his. We never use ours. Technically though, I think it belongs to the kids more than me. But they don't use it either.

We have one, and I can't stand it. It was a gift, so we haven't gotten rid of it. It's stored in my garage. Some people really like them, though. Or so I hear.
